Even if you have a lawyer you have to stay on top of it. I suggest you get the police report as well; did you answer yes to the question about arrests on the app? If not you should write an affidavit, that's what the lawyer did, let me know I've got a copy of the one we submitted.Good luck

My bf got notified of the RFE on Feb. 5th and got it on the mail on the 11th. I'm sure you'll get it soon

If your immunization record show the dates, I say send it again; what about school records do they show anything for these 5 month gap, even if its non grade given it should be fine. BTW in Cali you can get an official immunization record showing the dates you got them, can you do the same in VA? Good luck, and don't get frustrated you are one step closer

did she received her RFE? I've been checking on my bf status, finally on Jan 30th it said that a RFE was sent on that day, but nothing came, we called de lawyer, he said that USCIS is having problems with their online system, not to worry about it. When i checked the status again on Feb 5th it said that a RFE was sent on that day, as of today we haven't received anything and the status online hasn't change since the 5th.

You do sound depressed take it from someone who has gone through that! You deserve this opportunity, you didn't take it away from anyone! You dropped off from school, well there is always next semester! You haven't found a job, get a positive attitude pick up the phone and start calling businesses, are there job agencies where you live? If your town is small maybe visit cities around you. When you think about going back to Mexico, think the reason why you are here in the first place, why you didn't leave before.

@ Darelia I had asked my lawyer the same question, this is what he told me; if this happened when you were a minor it won't be held against you, you do need to get a criminal disposition, because it will come up when your biometrics are taken. I do know layer fees are expensive, but it is an important process. Also, I know someone from this forum got an RFE asking for a criminal disposition, just don't remember who tho.
