same here, when i called the uscis some black lady ansewered me. so i told her that when i got my biometrics taken the same day as one of my friends, and that the information was pretty much identical because we graduated from the same high school we are from the same country. as a matter of fact he got more tickets than i do. and she just said well it dont matter we are working as fast as we can and all you can do is wait till march, ohhh really and whos gonna pay my bills?

they just gonna say huhhh could you wait between 6 to 8 months, and if you dont hear back from us just keep waiting. uscis has such a crappy service and lazy employees that dont know sh1t,

Welcome to the group, i went to the biometrics appointment with one of my friends, he got approved 3 weeks ago, his siblings got approved a month before him and im still waiting since october 19 of 2012 !!!... Was your application routed to the vermont center ?

Dont worry youll get approved soon, so far all the people that got biometrics done in october are getting approved just now, so dont worry i know it sucks and everybody tells you to keep your head up and staff like that, what i can tell you is, you can either let it be and wait till you get the letter in the mail, or you can check you status every 2 weeks not everyday because thinking about it constantly is gonna make you sick, so just try to keep your mind occupied.

Francisco youre right, they take the money and forget about the apps. Theres no way a background check could take up to four months thats straight crap, and alot of people doesnt want to apply because theyre waiting for the migratory reform which will leads to the residence. Unlike deferred action which is for 2 years and no path residence,and the licence is just for 2 years. in fact some states wont even give you a driver licence, so even if you have the permit, how are you gonna get a job, if you dont have a valid driver licence.

I got pulled over twice, the first time was for speeding and no licence. The second time i was delivering a car and i got caught on a road/block and the officer that stopped me was some pale white guy, and the officer that wrote me a ticket was some really nice white girl asked me for an Licence and registration i didnt have any of those but i showed her my school ID and i told her that i i was an automotive aprentice and that i got pulled over a before that. I was sad because i knew i was gonna go to jail and but she only wrote me a ticket for no licence. When i went to the court i waited for 3 hours until i got up and i spoke to the same officer that pulled me over and she took my receive and asked the crerk lady to check the ticket number, she walked back and silently said your good to go ! And i was like but and she said go go just go home....
