Has this happened to anybody!? I'm confused does that mean I'm approved!? :/ I know they don't approve your I765 until they approve the 821D so is this a glitch or a mistake!?

first off I'd like to thank whom ever created this forum, I think it's a brilliant idea. Anyways I've been reading up on the processing time when filing I765 and 821D on a few forums but I'm still somewhat puzzled. Is the processing time for the 821D 4-6months!? And once your case is deferred, it takes up to 90 days to approve the EAD?

Fresita22 congrats you're approved!! The same thing happened to me I guess it takes longer for 821D to update.

I signed up on the uscis website but never received a text/email. It's better to check your case every so often, at least in my case it was.

My case was accepted Nov 30th in California Biometrics taken Dec 26th And I was approved today May 31st

Fresita2 I don't think you should be telling someone who is depressed to rely on drinking wine or any kind of alcohol to relief stress/anxiety. There is a misconception about alcohol specially in the Latino/Hispanic community. Alcohol is drug and is just as bad as crack or heroin. In all reality alcohol is probably the worst drug out there since its legal and you can buy it in the store.

Yes it's normal the processing time to get your case deferred 821D is approx 4-6 months. I did my biometrics a day before you and my case says the same thing. Don't worry you'll be approved, just a matter of time, Good luck bud!!

And once you receive the receipts in the mail, all the information you need to know is provided within the receipts. It should say a date and location of where you need to go. Buena suerte!!

After biometrics you play the waiting game. Currently the wait is 4-6months depending on your case and criminal background. Good luck and stay busy so it doesn't feel like an eternity

In my opinion I wouldn't consider "arthritis" to the extension of a life threatening situation to the point where the US would grant AP. Even if that were the case I know she's your grandmother and all, but are you willing to risk not being allowed back in the country?

I was in the same predicament except I'm not engaged with my girlfriend. Anyways keep your head up bro you're not the only one struggling, and you'll make it it's just a matter of how bad you want it. I think you should tell your GF about your situation because if she truly does love you, she will understand your Situation and accept you for who you are.

Same here, they received my application nov 30th Went in for biometrics on the 26th or 27th of December My case is still pending....

I sent my app nov 28 They received it nov 30 Did biometrics 27th of December and I still haven't heard from uscis. I guess we just have to wait patiently. :/

Hang in there you're very close, I heard that people getting RFEs are having their case deferred within days of sending new evidence.
