That's why I'm going to get a print out.. I knew it could take longer or it could come in 5 days, you never know, so it's better to just be one step ahead! & thanks all, hopefully by next week i can start searching for a J-O-B !

I'm pretty sure there are loans but my sister in law said that after your 2 years of temporary legal status are up with DACA if you try to renew the process & they see you have unpaid loans to the government, it could stall the process & put you at risk for deportation. Not to sure how true this all is but she said it would be safer to.find grants even though they are really hard to come by especially to someone with temporary legal status. You could always investigate though.

I'm going to the SSN office first, then waiting for the card in the mail if they don't do a print out. Then I'm going to a staffing agency to try & get a good paying job, saving up money & going to the university of Houston downtown to get my bachelors for social work. Then I'm helping kids get into good foster homes & try to help out the system since it's so screwed up! -.-

No,i only got the letter of approval for my DACA. Then i received the EAD.

Finally got my EAD today! Here I come social security office!

No, my case was updated last Saturday to approval on both the DACA & EAD. & i received the approval letter yesterday & I'm supposed to get the EAD card today or tomorrow.

Thank you! I'm very happy that it went faster after the RFE it would've sucked if it had taken even longer after i waited so long just to get the RFE!

I had to send one of those to! & i only printed my certified disposition, i didn't even go down to PD or sign any affidavit & i was still approved! I hope you hear something back soon!

Do you mean what you would need to take with you to get it?

What evidence did they ask for? Was it something simple cause if so hopefully you hear something in the next 2 weeks! I'm praying for y'all!

Don't worry guys it will happen when you least expect it. I was also feeling down & out when i got my RFE but then the process went pretty fast after that! Have faith & it will happen!

I have friends who rather sit at home & do nothing & they are citizens! If i had the opportunities they had i would be going to a university to get a career! It infuriates me that the government doesn't see that all we want is a chance to show them how great we can be with just a little help from them!

Have you ever used your married last name on anything ?? because if you have then they will ask you for your marriage license..

I did do a bit of waiting at first. They took like 3 months just to send me the damn RFE but after that things moved quickly! Which I'm very grateful for.

I got my RFE on Jan 28th, mailed back my evidence Feb 4th & they received it on Feb 6th. I was approved on Feb 23rd. I sent my evidence to Nebraska service center. Don't know how long it should take but I'm praying you hear something soon!

I sent my RFE to Nebraska but my.application went to.the.Dallas lockbox. Not sure why they did that but it took a total of 17 days.

Yeah i got the text yesterday morning!
