Yeah that's what it said when i checked, then i got a text 17 days later that my case had been updated & when i looked it said approved !!

Thank yooouuuu! I'm very happy! I thank God & this forum for all its advice. It kept me going!

There is a 4-6 month wait so even if other people are getting approved before you, there isn't much you can do but be patient & wait. If you call they will only tell you that your 6 months aren't up yet & that you have to wait before you can put in a service request or something like that!

I wonder if i I'll get approved on February 28th since my app was received August 28th, bios September 28th, RFE January 28th.. Man i hope so! Y'all just gave me hope!

I'm from Texas also! Sent in my app on August 27th & did my bios on September 28th. Got my request for additional evidence on January 28th & they received my evidence on February 6th. Now I'm just impatiently waiting for my approval. oh yeah & my app was sent to Nebraska also..

You can change your last name without a social! I did at least. All they needed to see was my marriage license.

I promise y'all will be the first to know!

If you put your married name on any of your paper work, they will find that in your back ground check & ask for your marriage license. & as of yet nothing new. Just impatiently waiting! Lol.

Have any of y'all tried to do a walk in biometric appt? I saw a post about that somewhere in this forum!

Ugh what a drag! That means I'm gonna have to make another appointment to renew my damn passport! -.-

does the passport have to be valid? & can i take my original birth certificate with the copy of the translated version? Sorry I'm asking so much.lol.

I know it sucks! I was so disappointed when i looked online & I saw that they had sent out an RFE. & i had already waited over 2 months!

I did my bios September 28th & i have been waiting 92 working days! Sadly there is people who have been waiting longer than i have. Waiting is all we can do. Hang in there, your time will come!

I went for bios on sept 28th & didn't receive my RFE till the 1st of February! Hopefully now that I've sent everything they said they needed i get approved!
