Guys in June 2012 I had graduated with a BBA in finance. I didn't intern because I was told I couldn't intern without a social. Otherwise I would have interned as much as I could. Now when I apply for jobs, everyone tells me the same thing. I don't have experience. I can't even intern now because I have already graduated! I have been managing a store for 7 years while I was in the pursuit of my degree, but that didn't even help on my resume. I have my resume on monster. I only get calls for commission based jobs with no future. I am in such a dilemma! All this wait for a Ead and I'm stuck in this economy? Should I just get a blue collar job? I already spent $40,000 on my BBA. If it didn't pay back, what's the point right? Please help! I am from the NY area.

I was confused. If I go online and do a e-request or if I call up the hotline and do a service request, is it the same thing? Also when Can I do it? In other words how can I calculate when my 6 month waiting period is up? Does it start from the date they received your application? Or after Biometrics?

what exactly is a I9 for and do permanent residents also have to file that?

Another thing that annoys me. I'm Punjabi and people can tell right away that I'm either Punjabi or they confuse me for being a latino. I hate it when they say so in Your country? Just because the fact I'm not white doesn't make me an American? I never went to my parent's country. This is the only country I know. This is my country. If could, I would have joined the marines. It really annoys me. I know nothing about my parent's country but I respect it as well. I just wish that people would start considering non-Caucasians Americans as well.

We need to target congress to get the bill passed. According to dreamact.info 208 say yes while 116 say no. If I'm not mistaking then we need 218 to pass right? This is the time. No RFE. Did by a Lawyer. After transfer people usually get approved after a month and a few weeks.

Wait so Youth like us will have to wait 5 years or 2 years before getting a green card? We should be faster right because We all ready went through the background check process?

So You got a RFE and you didn't receive the letter yet? Damm! Btw I'm right behind you. Like a month behind. I hope they don't send me a RFE. Let me know what they send you a RFE for. Also did you file through a lawyer?

I also got the same message. "The I821D Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office." I hope that means they are currently checking out my case and approval is right around the corner. Rumor has it they are interviewing now. I hope it's just a rumor. Interviews would just make the process slower.

The funny thing is my case was also rerouted but it doesn't show up when I check my case status. Just got a letter in the mail. If Vermont knew they had such a huge work load or small staff, they should have rerouted a long time ago. I just hope our cases are not lined up behind other Nebraska cases. It wouldn't be fair to wait another 2-3 months.

Another thing I have noticed is that they are transferring people from the Vermont center that got their bio done around Nov 20-30. And after. I don't know if I should be happy my case didn't get transferred to Nebraska or sad The wait is making me crazy lol!

Does anybody know why Vermont is taking so long? I have seen many people in Cali get their bio done in Dec or Jan and got approved in Feb and March????
