    Quick question.! Do i have to wait 6 months to take my behind the wheel test after I get my permit.? FYI, I'm 20 and my state is Illinois. But i go back to Cali in 3 months.

      You should get the road test whenever you are ready, some states give you an appointment for 30 days, others 3 months.. some you can just show up. There's no need to wait for 6 months and I'm pretty sure your permit is good for 3 months.

      Permits here in cali are for 3 months if I'm not mistaken, you can make an appointment for behind the wheel test any time you are ready :D
