Question my name on my daca card has my fathers last name first and my mothers last name last...however I have always written my last name as my dads last name...is this going to make a difference when I apply for stuff? I have never written my last name as my moms last name. Please help with advice.

Hey all so next week I'll be hitting nine months of waiting. My application is at the California center. I went onto the uscis website and it now says its processing September applications and I sent mine in August. I can't contact my local congressman because he's against illegal immigration. What do you guys suggest I do???

Has anyone received a response from there service request saying they should have a response within 60 days? If so how long did it take to get a response? Was the wait the whole 60 days?

When you receive a rfe do you start over with counting the months? I called the USCIS today and they told me that I want within the timeline because I received a rfe in October, but all together my applicatin was sent August 28th? I'm confused so do I not count August and September?

Has anyone received a letter in regards to putting in a service request form after waitin 6 months for an approval? Yesterday I hit six months and I'm getting worried I may not get approved. I received a RFE in October and when I check my status it just says they received my info on Nov. 2. I keep calling and they tell me I just have to wait. :-(

Finally thank God..today marked exactly 9 months since I sent my application. At 12noon I got the text my I765 was approved!! I thought this day would never come.

So ive lost all hope that i will get approved. i have a feeling they lost my application.. Soon ill be at 9 months :-( this was something i once was excited for...now im disappointed n sad at how things have turned out.

Thanks that is true...its just hard when I hear ppl who just sent there app getting approved...I mean I'm happy for them but I just wish they had a sent agreement on how they would process applications. Not just randomly pick. God only knows when ill get approved or even if I will....so ill just keep trying to wait patiently.

Yes I have plenty of times n yet I haven't been approved..I doubt they r working on august apps cause I've seen a lot of September applications approved. I think at this point all we have is to wait... oh n I recently did a service request n it told me I should hear something in 60 days. I would hope I would because by then it will be august. So it would make it almost a year to get approved. :-( -
Maybe try calling USCIS see what they tell you.I hope it isn't anything bad. The crazy thing is they can go back n reopen a case when there r plenty of ppl waiting almost nine months to get approved. How can they have spare time for this? They should start looking at cases that haven't been approved!
