I finally got my DACA and EAD approved today since my acceptance in September! Thanks for all your help people...and for my fellow Vermont-ers, let's keep the hope alive. They're crazy slow, but they're moving

I was just told by a friend that sending my FREs by express same day delivery (both times) is the reason they haven't received them. Apparently they want applicants to only send through regular mail. Is this a fact???

And i'd personally prefer the rfe over the initial review. most likely the rfe means good news..you can check out my timeline. 'rfe's means they're looking at your case. and if you're able to submit what they're requesting, things could really speed up for ya. ...hope it does

thanks REP. I hope it conveys the kind of pain i went through during those long and confusing months(almost 6 months since application approval). and hopefully gives hope to others going through similar or even tougher months while waiting. It'll all work out

@ Calidreamer: Yes the status on the USCIS website when you check should say they received it, if they did.

Seems like thats what i'm gonna have to do. I'll give it some time to see, and if nothing happens i'll try another way of sending. Did you express mail yours Jose?

JoseG, I still see that message you posted above today when I go to check my status. Mine was mailed on Decemeber 7th 2012. And according to my lawyer, every that was requested has been sent. So then my question is, should I still be seeing that message today even after they've received what they requested? (Assuming they received it because it was sent to them the very next week back in December)
