No but I would bring it up at the ss administration office so that they know what to do when the system try's to do the identity match. I would call uscis if You also would need do the change of address with uscis. Its hard to determine if people consider dorm addresses permanent though. would personally put my parents address if that is the address I put on the daca application since that is home address and for drivers license I would put the dorm's.

It takes about 2 weeks to recieve it. Call uscis toll number and press the problems with RFE option button to speak to a representative

The light at the end of the tunnel! -
I would get the DRIVER'S lisence or ID ASAP and keep ths rest at home in the safe and only use it when need it. The same goes with your work permit. It costs almost $400 to replace copies of immigration approvals.

I'm so happy for you!

I would call USCIS
-
It sounds about right. Make sure to make copies of everything for your records. I even wrote my receipt number on the top of every evidence paper.

Has Anyone Filed An Amended Tax Return!!1040X I Need Help
Theresa replied to orozcomari's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
Revising your tax return is done by filing an amendment. You need to use Form 1040X, along with a new Form 1040, plus any other necessary schedules and forms. Amended tax returns have to be mailed to the IRS on paper for manual processing. The IRS typically processes an amended return about 8 to 12 weeks, but this process can take longer during the IRS's busiest times. -
Anyone Applied In March This Year???
Theresa replied to bluetears's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
It's hard to go by other people's time lines because some have been waiting 6,7,8, or 9 months. I hope you get yours done soon! -
For DACA/deferred action for childhood arrivals/Acción Diferida para Jovenes, The requirement is to have high school diploma or GED or to be enrolled torwards these. You can be working or not. They suppose you are in the need to have a work permit to look for a job, earning at least minimum wage and not less, getting a fair paying job based on your qualifications, or to continue working without fear of loosing the job for not having the work permit. Dream Act, the requirement would be college

To prove continuous presence from June 15, 2007 to present time you need something for each trimester throughout each year. Split the year in four trimesters and pick a month from each semester you have something to show for.

How Did You Proved That You Were Here In June 15Th?
Theresa replied to KAIIN3's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
I sent a bank statement for the month where it showed transactions of a few days before and after. -
Easy! If your posts tell what you are doing, what movies you are seeing, what clubs you are hanging out with your friends at, it doesn’t take a detective to figure out your physical location. If your friends tag you in a photo taken in front of the Matterhorn, USCIS knows that you were at Disneyland that day, not in Switzerland. Similarly, your e-mails, your MySpace or Friendster posts and any other web page where you reveal your identity works just as well as Facebook. Ebay purchase reciepts

8Mos. Waiting, Never Recieved A Receipt From Uscis In Wac
Theresa replied to Rosales_LE's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
Do you know if they cashed your check? I would call them to find out. It sounds that they didn't recieve it. You should of had received at least the Biometrics appointment letter within weeks of received date. -
Ggjc, I would call them just to make sure it's not a glitch:/. Maybe they got the evidence late? You probably will have to reapply I came across this link: http://www.utexas.edu/law/centers/publicinterest/probono/forms/DACA_FAQs.pdf

I just found out! Basically, someone missed biometrics appointment because the notice came the day after it was scheduled. walked in early the next day (today) to see if could get it done even after missing appointment on Monday, and they let him do it with no problem. The people checking didn't seem too concerned about the date, and they said it was ok even when pointed it out. I've read somewhere that they give at least a week leeway to get it completed if you've missed your first appointment, so going a couple of days after wasn't a big deal. Relax and Keep us posted

Do you have matricula, expired passport or school ID? Some offices accept school IDs. Try to go right away and do a walk-in with stuff like that.

I just carry my license unless I need it for something specific.
