  1. Daca Expired, What Now?

Contact your congressman in your area
  2. Misspelled Last Name

I would send it because you have the deferred action letter for security and it might be a problem with taxes and other things like social security card etc., not matching your name.
  3. Social Security Number

You Keep the same number and card. You don't have apply for another one unless you lose it.
  4. You send the $465 with your packet... Example of a DACA packet, Remember to stablish continuous presence in chronological order; 2 passport photos and money order of $465 made out to U.S DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY paper clipped to the cover letter 1. Forms G-1145, I-765 worksheet, I-765 application, I-821 2. Passport or matricula 3. Birth certificate with notarized translation 4. High School Diploma, GED or proof of attending school towards high school diploma 5. Proof of presence in the USA on June 15,2012 6. Proof of presence in the USA on June 15, 2007 7. One document per trimester from July 2007 up to the time you send the application 8. Proof that you were in the USA before your 16th Birthday 9. One document every year from the time you came to the USA to 2006 And don't write any fake social security numbers where it's asking for any used. They are asking for any ssn given by the social security administration only. Try to google a DACA cover letter to customize for you and put it on the front of all pages. Make copy of all docs/evidence you will send for your records. Also if you are just sending it in now, send something every trimester (every 3 months) up until the time you send your packet
  5. This is about people who were older than 30 as of June 15, 2012 but have all the other requirements for DACA
  6. Just Got Approved For Renewal!

    Wow! That is so cool
  7. A lot of people are getting no where going with info pass since they get the same as if you were to call them, you can do an enquiry in person or online.... Well, I made an appointment but it Was gong to be within weeks and my EAD Was about to expire in two days. So, i contacted the congressman in my district and then the day after my card expired, I recieved an email from the congressman that my CASE WAS APROVED! I checked my case status and it was approved!!! I tried so many things and no one can tell you how to extend it. Even my HR was trying to help me and They got this letter from USCISt: Per the FAQ on the USCIS website (http://www.uscis.gov/humanitarian/consideration-deferred-action-childhood-arrivals-process/frequently-asked-questions#renewal of DACA), if the employee filed her renewal request at least 120 days prior to her expiration date, then she may be able to obtain authorization for an additional 120 days if USCIS is delayed in processing. The agency website notes that she can submit an inquiry to USCIS once her renewal request has been pending for at least 105 days. The website has the contact info, but it looks like for online inquiries she would go to https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request.
  8. Work Permit Expire Next Thursday The 27Th :(

Have you emailed your congress in your area?
  9. I Have A Question!

It looks like no one knows how you would extend it. So, I wonder if you would know about it by doing a self e-verify. The employer could do this as well. I would do self e-verify to see what that says. Who knows, maybe it will say you are still allowed to be working in the us regardless of your case pending?
  10. I Have A Question!

This letter was sent to an employer who sent a letter to uscis asking about an employee with the same situation( Per the FAQ on the USCIS website (http://www.uscis.gov/humanitarian/consideration-deferred-action-childhood-arrivals-process/frequently-asked-questions#renewal of DACA), if the employee filed her renewal request at least 120 days prior to her expiration date, then she may be able to obtain authorization for an additional 120 days if USCIS is delayed in processing. The agency website notes that she can submit an inquiry to USCIS once her renewal request has been pending for at least 105 days. The website has the contact info, but it looks like for online inquiries she would go to https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request.
  11. Do a check status of the 821D receipt and print out that page and send that. Next time save it because it is the actual proof of the deferred action. The card is work authorization. You could have the deffered action certificate alone without the EAD but you couldn't have the Ead without the 821D approval. It just looks like a piece of paper but it's the main reason why you are allowed to apply for the work authorization.
  12. Community College Questions????

The schools would be a good source to ask them directly just in case
  13. I Have A Question!

If you sent it 120 days before, you should be able to get an extension while it gets aproved.
  14. Even if you have a valid social security number, it's recomended to blur the number.
  15. It will change when it's approved
  16. Few Questions About Renewal App

    1. Only addresses where you lived from the time you applied the first time 2. You’ll want to write the USCIS office that made a decision on your I-765 application. If you already have an Employment Authorization Card, this is easy. Look for the card# on the front of your card. In the example below, the card number is SRC0000000773. The first three letters are an abbreviation of the USCIS office that handled your application. Here is a list of the abbreviations for USCIS service centers: CSC - California Service Center EAC - Eastern Adjudication Center IOE - USCIS ELIS (e-file) LIN - Lincoln Service Center MSC - Missouri Service Center NBC - National Benefits Center NSC - Nebraska Service Center SRC - Southern Regional Center TSC - Texas Service Center VSC - Vermont Service Center WAC - Western Adjudication Center 3. Unlawful Status: DACA 4. car value, property equity, money in the bank, etc
  17. The best time for you to submit your DACA renewal application to USCIS is 120 to 150 days before the date your current DACA and EAD expire. If you apply within this window of time and USCIS delays processing your application, USCIS may provide you deferred action and work authorization for a short period of time until a decision is made on your case.
  18. Some lawyers think you should while others say it's not necessary but keep in mind that the instructions do say to send two passport photos taken within a month of sending in your packet. Just breath and hope for the best. If they need something else from you, you Will get an REF to continue the processing of your application,.
  19. Actually, 60 days or so after you take your biometrics, the waiting starts because by then you'll know if you are approved or if it's going to take longer.
  20. I hope you get approved soon! And yes I pray every day but we have to take what they can give us. They require so much of us that if they would just give it to everyone including those who would be a threat to the communities and homeland security, I would be more worried. I am worried but I would be more worried. Probably DACA and DAPA is a sign and bridge right now because the reform is not coming soon. La lucha sigue Si se puede!
  21. I-765 Renewal Question

lets us know if you have questions about the forms
  22. I-765 Renewal Question

The 797 has the same date of validation and expiration, your alien (USCIS number) and where DACA was granted. Make sure all this information is on the forms. So what I would do is to send a copy of the 797, social security card, drivers license, the mailer where the ead came in is not a bad idea either.
  23. Thoughts On Obama's Executive Order...

I'm thankful because it really has been almost 3 decades since 1986 without anything happening plus more time for people who did not enter the United States before January 1, 1982 to be able to qualify for the 1986 amnesty. Plus many who were here many years before that but didn't know about it missed out because the time to apply ran out on them. I met someone the other day who came here in 1978 but because of working two jobs, only gave him little time to sleep, did not have a tv to watch the news, no one told him, and didn't benefit from it. There are tons of people with that story. We are lucky this is actually happening in our time
  24. Your fake social is connected to your check stub, your check stub is connected to your ITIN and your ITIN is connected to your new social security number.
