Im sure you'll be fine, but if you want to be reasssured, contact a lawyer in a non profit organization in your area who can talk to you. Good luck and welcome to the forum..

Just picked up my notarized/translated birth certificate. Its PERFECT. Included with the 34 dollar fee is a notarized letter certifying the accuracy of the translation. I recommend this website 100%. I just picked up my notarized/translated birth certificate. I paid $34 dollars for it and it was PERFECT. No mistakes whatsoever on the translation and it even has a letter included by a notary certifying the translation. I recommend 100%

Rodrigovela17: You have a good point there, it might show up in the background check, thats why I think its better to be honest and present it, if it seems youre hiding something, it could hurt your case. (This is all my personal opinion)

dreamsearcher: I think the best advice I can give you is to see an attorney regarding your ss#, however if I was in your situation, I'd present these stubs..its the best proof or also if you have any utility under your name, past bills show the address..I'd show those... good luck

will my tatoo affect me applying for dream act ?
itzel replied to hunninutz's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
I think only if the tattoos are gang affiliated, I dont see why any other tattoo would be a problem. Its a way of one expressing themselves. Im seriously considering after I go in for biometrics, on getting a tattoo. A phoenix bird -

What kind of paperwork will I need?
itzel replied to AndresG's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
Aled: Depends what they ask for, if copies or originals. If they ask for copies, I'll make color copies, but I read on the USCIS website regarding submitting paperwork, its not returned to you until later...but I really am hesitant about giving my ids...I dont want them misplaced or lost. Heres what it says exactly: At the discretion of the officer, original documents may still be required in individual cases. Please be advised that USCIS no longer returns original documents submitted with the exception of Certificates of Naturalization, Forms I-551, Permanent Resident Card, Forms I-94, Arrival/Departure Document, valid passports, or those specifically requested by the officer. Such documents will be returned when they are no longer needed. What kind of paperwork will I need?
itzel replied to AndresG's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
John89: Your visa and passport expired should be enough, at least thats my opinion. However, we know they can be difficult sometimes, I'd go get a consulate card at your local consulate if possible. A notario should be able to translate the documents if they feel competent, just remember the officers who'll be checking our paperwork will most likely be looking for any little mistake. (my personal opinion, not fact) I found a great place for 34 with free expedited shipping. Im picking mine up tomorrow. I put up a topic about it..look it up, if you cant find it, I'll be glad to provide it. Any other questions, let me know, Im here to help.
