I agree with the generalizations part, but I can't help but still want to generalize some white (trash) dare I say the word trash???? US citizens who have all the privileges we dream of having (citizenship, work immediately upon turning 16, apply for federal finacial aid, get DL at 16, etc...) and dont value it and instead prefer to get in line for welfare and are accusing us illegals of coming over to do just that...sorry personal rant here..but its true...

I also believe it will have a negative impact on CIR, my question would be, did they first enter the country with student visas? If so, I thinkt the # of student visas may then be limited on the CIR bill..great timing assh****....

Apart from camping in his office and demanding his help to get your money's worth for his services, you can insinuate that the North Carolina Law Bar would be very interested in hearing about your case and the events surrounding it and that his negligence/error causing your case to be in jeopary and have the possibility of dismissal could lead to an investigation that could remove his law practicing license. I work in a law office and have seen how nervous the attorneys get when a client mentions taking the complain and opening a case with the respective law bar association. Good luck.

@pswa83: exactly what I thought!!! I actually read the 19 pages and didnt see a mention of the DREAM act which seems to be is being used parallel with DACA..seems exciting to me if its true we wont have to pay fines...

I was sent to Nebraska when I first applied and at the beginning CA was the fastest and then I believe, in my humble opinion, Nebraska is pretty decent in working quickly..good luck everyone..

Wow..I havent seen that happen here, DACA specifically says that you have had to had continuous presence in the country for the past 5 years, also if you got barred for 10 years, there are records and if you did or paln applying for DACA that will come out. Good luck.

Congrats! When I got approved in Oct, they made it a little more difficult to get my TX ID and I actually had to wait for the SS card, since the DACA process was still new..

Something about the # of days and the rules USCIS implements about waiting and when done, then they try to change them, doesnt sound right to me. If I were in your shoes I'd demand to speak to a level 2 officer. Good luck.

Most people have mentioned that due to waiting for SS administration having to sync/update their records accordingly wiht USCIS. I think if you wait at least 3 that should be enough. I only waited 2 days, but it was because I already had a SS#, it just said NOT VALID FOR EMPLOYMENT and all I had to do was a get a new card with that restriction take off, but still got to keep my same #. Good luck, with luck, USCIS will call you and get your side of the story and not just assume it's entirely your fault.

I think every ASC is different, here in El Paso Texas, my driver had to wait outside, although when I went it the waiting area was empty.

It seems they're just giving you the run around..you sent your app in sept..either CA center is very slow or they are being very scrutinous on your paperwork/application/evidence. Good luck..it'll all be over and you'll be approved before you know it.

I dont think its bad, they just want to see legal paperwork with your info.

You should hire an attorney and see what he recommends..i hope it doesnt affect you but you've been waiting after your biometrics and its at this point where they investigate your records, etc..

They dont come together..they come separate a few days apart, I got my EAD card first and about 2 days later the DACA notice.

What I find odd about your situation is you sent your application only 10 days after I sent mine in..you should have been approved a while ago..maybe you should call them every day until they give you an answer..
