I agree with there being a separate chat box for "chat" other than DACA chat, because honestly, I dont go on the chat box because people are bouncing from 1 subject to another and some of it is persona. We shold have a box called "Mingle or Whazzzaaaupppp" so people can talk about what ever they want, One chat box for only DACA questions concerns, what to do after getting the EAD, etc...

All right, well all you can do now is wait, relax..I know it sucks to wait more, but at least you already got approved and know that eventually you will get an EAD card. -
Also if they check my moms, my mom doesnt have credit because she is illegal...so its not really possible to use her. No worries Rawf. You werent harsh, just voicing your opinion like all of us.

I would call and insist to speak to an officer about checking your mailing address..just insist to be tranferred because you checked your case status and it said it had been mailed out..just be prepared to wait for 30 or more minutes on the phone... also guys..remember not everyone is happy for us who are coming into this new stage in our lives..unfortunately there are people (citizen) who may be judgemental and "lose" our documentation. Just keep your chin up and remember that what goes around comes around..

I would call USCIS and ask to speak to an officer regarding your EAD being returned to the USCIS office and veryfying your address.. -

I agree with you 100% and wish I knew why you feel or gave examples of how others are turning their backs. I used to be here more often but unfortunately am not because I found a job. I am a receptionist at a law firm and the hours are long. Its not that we've "turned" our backs, the thing is that we finally got the opportunity to work and start making arrangements to go back to school. Because I am not here as often as I used to, I have seriously considered stepping down as moderator. Let someone else have the spot. Good luck to us all. -

I live in tx and this past weekend drive to NM. Driving through the checkpoints I presented my EAD TX ID and a copy of my approval notic from DACA. I was also asked if I was a US Citizen and I replied NON CITIZEN.

Every state and college is different. You need to speak to the financial aid counselors. In tx we qualify for emergency loans only.

How about we look at what I wrote. This is my personal opinion, I think it takes years to build a good credit score. Lets really understand the words I THINK. This is my personal opinion and I disagree with yours Rawf plain and simple.

Hi Amor: All I can tell you is to relax...if you had been denied or USCIS had sent you a RFE, you would know about it already. I believe bad news travels faster than good news..you just need to wait...I think due to the days youve been waiting youre very close... I havent heard of anyone getting approved despite a deportation order, but Ims sure there must be some out there... Ill keep my fingers crossed for you..

I think Obama will win, but theres a possibility Romney will.. 2.I want Obama to win so he wont leave us DACA applicants hanging 3.I would ask him: Is DACA all you will do to fix our broken immigration system? 4.If Romney wins, I believe he will veto DACA and we will be in limbo... 5. I continue to log on when my job permits me and continue to help on this forum, if there ever comes a moment I cant, I will give a notice..I wont just disappear..

Theres no drug test for the biometrics but... When you apply for jobs, some of these places have mandatory drug checks..might as well start clearing the system...

You dont need an I94 if you dont have one. This would be EWI, entering without inspection. I didnt provide an I94 and look at me approved, with EAD and TX ID and even a job..

If November 15 comes and you haven't received it you can call USCIS. I did that because I remember reading on the USCIS website regarding the process, that after you receive the approval notice, you should receive an appointment notice with in 30 days... I called and asked to speak to an officer...
