Congrats!! For me I was approved on a Monday and the card got here on Friday!!! Applied for a social that same day!!!

When you check your status does it state that they have received your RFE? Did you get a tracking number when you sent it so you can check and see if it arrived. I believe it may take upto60 days to hear back from an RFE , hope they approve you soon!

well it may be that they included your second last name as well I hope its like me and they approve you today! 4 hours after I received the name update I was approved! good luck!

you might need to have your lawyer write an explanation that he checked the box as a mistake but to be safe do go to the court house and ask for a.print out that states you have no prior or pending cases or any outstanding tickets. sucks that your lawyer caused you more delay but he NEEDS to fix it

I saw a case for shoplifting that was approved but my best advice would be hiring a lawyer, they would be the ones who can tell you for certain if you qualify.

Maybe your name matched someone with a bad record. I would probably go to the courthouse and ask for a letter or some sort of record for yourself that states that you dont have any outstanding tickets or any prior cases. But like you said it is weird that they would ask YOU that if they DID a background check. Good luck.

Glad to see your lawyer stepped up and is trying to find out what is taking your case so long. Did you asked your lawyer to call or did he do it himself?

Virgin Islands was always an unattainable dream of mine, maybe if I get approved I could finally fulfill it! Wonder how much do I need to save up..
