you're not alone. there are still people from september who are not approved yet. the 4 to 6 month wait period starts AFTER your bios. It's only been 55 working days since your bios. USCIS doesnt work on the weekends or holidays. now that is only for the decision on the I-821D. after the I-821D is approved, USCIS still has 90 days to make a decision on the I-765. being patient isnt the easiest thing in the world but just try to stay busy. it helps ti keep your mind off of it

ok, this is the song that plays when i'm in the car. something about it gets me going.

most states discriminate in some way or another.

at the moment i have chase. i've had since 2005 when it was Washington Mutual. and up until friday i was happy with them. so, i'm in the market for a new bank.

i dont know if they fix your legal status if you win. i do know in CA, you need not only a valid SSN but also 2 forms of ID. so, i'm thinking that my DL and EAD would work. also found this online. http://www.usamega.com/mega-millions-faq.htm
-
so on the SSN app, the first line you fill out is "Name to be shown on card" then then 2nd line says "full name at birth other than above" the 1st line would be where you would have put your first and last name (the last name you use most often) the 2nd line is where you would have listed you name at birth, with both last names. hen i applied for my SSN and DL, i put both of my last names. however, i have come to find out that it is up to ho ever you give your name to, how they list your name. in terms of doctors offices or utility companies. with me for the most part, my 2nd last name is used and not the 1st but i sign my using both last names.

how many times has your case been transferred? it could be because one service center is overworked. -
Enough Proof For Presence On June 15, 2012
pswa83 replied to Blazinknight23's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
could be but you wont know until you send in your application. i know that something can be dated a few days before the 15th or a few days after the 15th so those may work. i have an eye doctor receipt from june 14th that i used, -
i dont think that it should be restricted to those between the ages of 14 to 28. Right now I am 29 and will turn 30 later this year. I have finished my college education, never been in trouble with the law and have never used a fake SSN. i also dont believe that just because one comes from a country that has a higher number of illegal immigrants, that they should have stricter rules placed on them. i believe that CIR should be a tiered system and not just apply to those who came here as children or those who are still in school. 1st tier should be for those who have been here since 1988, who have a USC or a PR parent(s) and who have filed a Relative Petition with USCIS. 2nd tier should be for those who have been here since 1995, who have a USC parent or a PR parent(s) and who have filed a Relative Petition with USCIS. 3rd tier should be for those who have arrived after 2000, who are DACA approved and meet maybe a few other requirements. 4th tier should be for those who arrived after 2008 and have not either filed a petition with USCIS. the reason why i think it should be something like this is because if amnesty is given across the board, it is not fair to those who are in the US who have filed Relative Petitions and who have either USC or PR parent(s) and who are trying to gain legal status the correct way to give legal status to someone one that has been here just a few yrs and have not filed any petitions/applications with USCIS. those in the country who are trying or have tried (at some point or another) to correct their status the correct and legal way should have priority. maybe i'm just saying this because it's from a personal POV but i've been dealing with the immigration system since 2001 (12yrs) and am tired of those who lie and cheat get their papers before me. the system is not fair, i understand not, but it is also not fair to reward those who have not taken their place in line like those are doing things correctly.

found this website. think it will help. looks pretty simple to understand. http://www.courts.ca...elp-divorce.htm also if you go down to the court house, sometime they have free legal aid on certain days or certain times of the money that will help with either filing of the paperwork or other stuff.

We Might Be Waiting Alot Longer?
pswa83 replied to TheGame1990's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
i dont think it will affect anything. i mean there are still DACA applicants from August still waiting for approval. the new immigration rule cant be blamed for that. i think that of USCIS is the one that stated this, it is their way of excusing the long wait and backlogs they are creating themselves. If they would have hired more employees like they said they were going to to help with DACA then the new immigration rule is would have no impact on anything. -
yes, sending as much evidence you have from 2007 till now will help. hs transcripts and college transcripts will be good too.

Applying For A Ssn If You Are Underage...
pswa83 replied to ツ alejandriiukz ㋡'s topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
i think he can apply by himself. he doesnt need his parents to go w/ him or sign for him. just make sure he takes everything he needs. passport, EAD, approval letters, and the DACA paper from the SSA website. he should be fine. -
it shouldnt make you nervous. the cases are processed in order.

only business days count. monday thru friday. it has only been 44 business days since your bio appt. USCIS has given an estimate of 4 to 6 months for a decision on the I-821D. from there USCIS has 90 days to make a decision about the I-765 (work permit) sadly, the only thing to do after the bios is wait. unless you receive an RFE.

Community College .... Is There Any Financial Help For Undocumented Students ?
pswa83 replied to taramo35's topic in General Discussions
California does have the California Dream Act. which entitles an undocumented student to apply for and receive non-state funded scholarships for public colleges and universities. this 1st link is the link for the instructions for the California Dream Act app. http://www.csac.ca.gov/pubs/forms/grnt_frm/2013-14_california_dream_application_instructions.pdf 2nd link is for the application itself http://www.csac.ca.gov/pubs/forms/grnt_frm/2013-14_paper_dream_application.pdf 3rd link is for the worksheet http://www.csac.ca.gov/pubs/forms/grnt_frm/2013-14_dream_application_worksheet.pdf i dont know, where you applied for school, but it is worth a try to talk to the financial aid department and ask them what your options are and if the California Dream Act applies to community and junior colleges as well. -
it means that they only want to see stuff from 2007 till now. anything prior to 2007 is not need.
-
it all depends on the service center you have and how fast they are working. remember that only business days count not weekends or holidays. if you did your bios on nov 19 then it has only been 35 business days since then. i would just be patient, i know it's hard, but honestly there's not much you can do except wait.

Am I The Only One Who Hasnt Sent In An App Yet??/
pswa83 replied to Cynthia_Penuelas's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
i think the important thing is, not when you send in your paperwork, but how well you put everything together so that you dont get an RFE, good luck. hope everything goes well -
ahhhh, i would think he would have because USCIS states that if one does not send in all the forms, they will return the application to the applicant.

doesnt USCIS have 90 days to make a decision on the I-765 AFTER they approve the I-821D??
