lol...yeah my finger kept rolling too much to one side so he couldnt get a "whole" print
-
ah, i did not know that. that brings out the question of, if its only good within the city that it is issued in, and i cant use it else where, like i would a DL/ID, i would wonder why i would even bother getting a city "ID" card. i honestly just think it's another way for either the city or a company "sponsered" by the city, to make money off a certain group for the sole purpose of financial gain and nothing else.

the only finger that had to be redone was my middle finger on my right hand...lol the way i hold a pen/pencil, my finger bends to the left a little and the guy that did my prints keep laughing about it and how it took him like 3 tries to get a good one...lol

i will. that is in the case that for some sad reason, i pass away in an accident or something like that and the doctors can harvest my organs shortly there after, however, i do have a living will that has conditions on organ donation. my living will states that if i am in a coma and no longer about to make decisions for myself, that there is a 30 day waiting period before my organs can be harvested for donation.

the DMV checks the immigration status with DHS when you apply for your DL/ID. so even if you try to apply or renew or DL/ID after your EAD is expired, most likely you will not be able to because the DHS will notify the DMV that your EAD is no longer vaild. as for renewing your DL/ID online, seeing how in CA the DL will be limited, there is a good chance that you wont be apply to because you will need to present a valid EAD in order to do so.

Requirements for DL depending on whatever state you are in :)

i think this list needs to be updated. it says that the EAD will be accepted in AZ and it will not be. it is listed on the AZ DMV site. -
i would go to another recruiting office and see what they say. if she sounded iffy then it wouldnt hurt to ask someone else.
-
you list your name the exact way it is on your birth certificate. so if you have 2 last names, you listed both. i did it that way because that is the way it is listed on my BC and passport.

Romney Would End Deferred Action ASAP After Taking Office
pswa83 replied to JoseG's topic in Dream Lounge
i just find it funny that Romney thinks if he wins that he is going to go to DC and start telling people what to do. DC doesnt work that way and the fact that Romney doesnt know that, is funny beyond words. -
SSN are permanent, however, what i think may happen is that if your DACA is not renewed or you do not renew it, then the SSA might inform you that your SSN is no longer valid for employment. then i would believe the SSA may change your card to have it say "Not for Employment Purposes" or something to that affect. Meaning that you might still be able to use it for tax purposes or other things but not to be legally employed.

Hunninutz, I would try to apply for a DL in aZ first. No where on your EAD or sSN will it say that you were approved for DACA. So how are they going to know if you are DACA approved or if you have an EAD or SSN through another process. In order to apply for a DL in CA or NV, you will need to have a physical address in that state in order to apply for one

you should explain it just the way you did. in translation letters get replaced or added. but when you fill out the app, spell your name the way it is on your birth certificate and/or passport

Could i apply if i live outside the US?
pswa83 replied to mroman2387's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
with in the USCIS system, one is still considered a "child" until he/she turns 21. back in 2001, my mother was a PR and she filed the I-130 on my behalf. at the time i was 17. then in 2005, she became a citizen but by that time, i had already turned 22 by 3 weeks. so i "aged-out" according to the USCIS system and was placed a different category. if my mom would have applied for citizenship before i turned 21, i would have gotten a green card and by now would have already be a citizen. -

yes, they can apply to adjust your status if they are only residents. the wait time will all depend on what country you are from and how old you are when they apply. the NVC (national visa center) is working on cases from 2010 for dependents of PRs. -

I do not believe so. However, if your parents have legal status in the US (either residency or are citizens) why do they not apply to adjust your status? If you have a visa, I assume that you have some sort of legal staus in order to travel in and out of the US. -
i wholeheartedly agree with you, Cochoz. when i was younger, i know that i was totally jealous of those around me and the fact that they were able to do what ever they want, when they wanted to. even my sister and brother (both younger). but as i got older, i realized that those who do have the option of doing what they please, do not know any different. they dont know what it is like to not be able to drive, or work or do anything else that you want to do. all we can do from this point on is, live the life that we want to live and be the productive people that our families and people in our corner want us to be. NO MORE and for sure NO LESS

yes, the only difference between the 2 numbers are going to be the very last number in each receipt number. on my the last number for the I-821D is 4 and for the I-765 the last number is 5.
