Thanks guys I really appreciate everyone's input.. It's always nice to hear how everyone else thinks. I woke up feeling a little overwhelmed but feeling much better now
@ Aled I've had a steady job for about 3 years now.. It's crazy how much having a job has helped me out! Like u said just knowing that you can contribute and be an asset to the household, it's a wonderful feeling!
I think what I'm most excited about at the moment is getting my license!! I've been driving for a few years and have been pulled over once. The fear and the paranoia at checkpoints that @sotero_gonzalez mentioned uhhh it's the worse so that's something I'm really looking forward to. I'm taking the written exam this Friday, wish me luck
@sotero_gonzalez and @engineer2mike what school do you guys plan to transfer to?
As far as education goes I'm in a similar situation as u guys. I have my AA. I had to quit school because I couldn't afforded to transfer. Shortly after that I was very fortunate and found a job. Its certainly not my dream job but it pays the bills and its exactly the kind of job i had been needing. Life is expensive! I have been saving up what I can. My next big purchase will be a car I really hope to go back to school soon
I'm happy to see that some of you don't feel under pressure I will learn from you guys and just take things one step at a time. With a plan in mind, let's make these next years count good luck to you all especially those of you like @profjouster who are still waiting to be approved!!
