Anybody from Iowa? My friend had a wreck there but the lady said everything was fine that she wasn't gonna press charges next thing you know the cops go looking for him because she filed a report without him knowing. Can she still do that?
she can. they could just be looking because he is a party in the accident. just want to ask him questions and what not. she could have done it for insurance purposes. he can turn around a file a report himself. if he doesnt have a DL or insurance then, he'll get tickets for that.
then have him file a report. he can get a copy of the police report she filed and if that's not what happen, file a report. he might be able to take her to civil court for damages to his car if it turns out that she lied on her police report.
