  1. This might be an ignorant question for some, but I really am clueless. I've never held a job in my life and now after getting approved and weeks of job applications I finally landed an interview. I'm feeling confident but I have a question. If I get this job (or any other job) how does the paperwork process go? By that I mean what type of ID have you guys shown that you are indeed legal to work in the US. Just the EAD card? orrr anything else?
  2. So I've been applying for jobs over the last few weeks and basically now most of the applications are done online and of course a SS is mandatory. I've been "iffy" about putting my SS online because people have said not to give it to any employers unless hired... ? So I don't know how feel about the whole thing.
  3. Thanks for sharing your story I'm pretty sure all of us in this forum can relate somewhat to your story. We didn't have a say coming into this world, God knows I've asked myself plentyyy of times as well "why me... why couldn't I just be like everyone else" but that's life. We have to make the best of things and definitely look at the positives. There are people in other countries living way way worse than us so lets count our blessings. DACA has been a tremendous big step for all of us and I pray that this is just the beginning. With all the talk about the immigration reform hopefully better things come our way. wish you the best
  4. "will You Now Or In The Future Require Sponsorship?"

I had the same exact question! Although i googled that and some people say as long as your not a citizen then the answer is Yes? but I think pswa83 is correct
  5. Florida Driver's Licenses ?

Ok good ^ I haven't either, hopefully it remains that way!!
  6. Drivers License?.. Help

I haven't personally dealt with your situation, but I think it varies for every state. You should check out your state DMV book or website and read about the offenses. You might have to pay some type of fine or waiting period but then again it might vary because of your "legal status" definitely do some questions or even call the DMV your self. Goodluck!
  7. So last week I heard on the news that Gov Scott vetoed the law for us approved for DACA to get drivers licenses, I did some internet searching and I found some articles saying that regardless his decision it is possible for someone in the state of Florida to get a temporary drivers license as long as they have a valid SS and work permit, I was just wondering if anyone from Florida has heard anything or has tried to get a license recently ?
