Don't quit your job man, bcuz you don't know how long it will take. BUT.... do quit after or tell your employer of your situation if you feel like they will be ok with it. Bcuz you could put them in danger for hiring an "illegal"

Have you tried contacting them at all?! Do you have a lawyer? I've been waiting since oct I did my biometrics in nov. and nothing I've contacted them several times and nothing.

I know you already read this "I called on 3 cases yesterday pending over 8 months - no criminal issues on any of these - I was told by NCSC that they are in FBI background check and nothing can be done." but I think it's stupid that a case like yours can't pass a damn security clearance. They should've just aproved you right away! But let's stay on their ass eventually they need to give us a fucking answer, right?!

9 Months on wednesday and I called today and this guy was very helpful today. I will be starting a post telling people what I was told. Where is your application being processed?

Dude I was told sometimes they feed you lies so you stop calling them. How long has it been since you filed? They told my lawyer my case was being reviewed for fraud and I called today and they didn't say that at all

Did they tell you why you got denied? My application is still in initial review and I applied in Oct.

I wasn't trying to be rude actually or start any drama. I'm saying for us who have been waiting close to a year is heart breaking. If you read my entire post you would understand that we're all very stressed. And like many who are still in initial review since 2012 it sucks TONS bcuz we don't understand why the process doesn't move you know? It's like they should just give us an aswer instead of toying with us, while others who applied later in 2013 are getting approved within like 3 months. Medina I wasn't trying to start nothing, so I sencerly hope you try to see where I was coming from. You also didn't offend me and I was just saying like you also said that this long of a wait just seems ridiculous since people who applied in 2013 are getting approved right away. But I do appreciate the support that you and the rest of the forum have shared with all here.
