In the past I had credit with a well know store here in CA , which really all I had to do to get approved was show my mexican id and tell them that I worked as a nanny. Anyways I ended up with bad credit with them because for some couple months I wasnt able to give my payments. My question is : Will that bad credit history transfer to my ssn automatically once they assign it to me ?

So yesterday Jul. 30 I got a call from my lawyers office letting me know that they had contacted uscis. They spoke to an officer regarding my long waitng case. Which goes like this : Application received Nov. 14 2012 , Biometrics Dec. 12 2012 , Rfe March 6 2013 , Response to rfe April 22 2013 . So the officer looked up my case and said that my case was just there pending , wasnt sure why it was taking to long to get a decision on my case. So he sent out an inquiry to whoever is working on my case. So we are suppose to get a response to the inquiry withing 15 days. I really hope that if my case is just sitting there without anyone looking at it that with this inquiry they start working on it again. So lets see what happens within the next two weeks.

Hello..My name is Yuri..So after so long looking for answers here I finally decided to create my own account. Well long story short , My daca application was received on Nov.8 ,2012 . I received an rfe on March 6 ,2013 . Gathered all the evidence I could for the months they were asking me for. They received my response to the rfe on April 22 ,2013. Its now going for almost three months since they received my response to the rfe , I am sad , stressed out , confused so many mixed feelings. Why is it taking so long??.. Everyone is getting approved ,even people who applied this same year , I am here still waiting. Called Customer Service last week and this really nice lady answered, all she did was tell me exactly what I see almost everyday when I check my case status in the uscis website. Oh! and she did tell me that uscis was working on the applications for the month of October 2012 , thats confusing because I personally know people who applied way after that month and have already been approved. I guess all I can do is wait , wait and wait. Adding some personal info. My parents brought me here the state of CA in the year of 1988 using a passport my mom had, we used to leave in Tj so my mom had a passport and I was included in it. Well Ive been here since then , 25 yrs of my life. Was only 5yrs when I arrived here. Well basically I used to love going to school , well you could of called me a nerd. Graduated high school in the year 2000. Back then it wasnt that easy attending college or a university without legal status. I had a high gpa so I could of automatically have been accepted to a university. I talked to my school counselor in my senior year , told her my situation about my status in the country. She basically threw all my dreams away telling there was nothing she could do to help me. I already had an appt to talk to one of the counselors from one of the universities. I didnt attend it. I was so depressed. So much dedication to school for nothing. Well so I jst ended up working in a fast food restaurant. In the year of 2007 I found out about a great and cheap medical assiting program that didnt require you to demonstrate legal status in the country. I completed in program in June 2008, by July I already had a job as a medical assistant in a pediatricians office. Well the dream come true was lived short. In Dec 2008 the doctors received a letter stating some kind of mistake with my ssn. And we all know what happend after that, no more job for me. I had to tell the doctors the truth about my status , they were always great persons towards me so I jst couldnt lie. Well here I am waiting to see if my case gets approved. Theres so many dreams that have been cut short . I am seriously so stressed out. But while theres faith there will always be hope.

Its been two months since my daca got approved and little by little ive been doing things that ive always wanted to do. Getting my id and actually using it feels AWESOME. Getting added to the payroll with my NOT FAKE ssn. Having a DL and being able to drive without the fear of being pulled over by cops. And so many other great things that await me. I am so thankful for DACA and really hope that all of you guys still waiting get approved soon.

Sorry to hear about your illness. I really hope that you get the help needed to help you treat your illness. And about your question.. which I think is a really good question . I had some doubts about that too , I really hope somebody in the forum helps you answer your question.

Hello .. And I am really sorry to hear that they have made you wait for so long. But the good thing that you finally got some kind of answer , even though it was an rfe. Make sure you go ahead and send all the evidence they are requesting, the more the better. And I really wish you the best of lucks and hope to hear of your approval soon.

Yes , that exactly what would show up for me. Did they email you your USER ID already??

Ive been educating myself on how to start building my credit , and I plan to start with a secured credit card. At first I thought that building credit was using your credit card to the credit limit. But nope! , when building credit thats actually not a good start. Like you said just using your credit card to a limit where you know you are going to be able to pay off the balance at the end of the month when your payment is due. Thats the way to show the Credit Bureaus that we are responsible when it comes to spending.

So you said you forgot your id to log in , so did you go through all of the steps to recuperate your user id ??. If you did when you are signing in are you filling in you are a CUSTOMER where they ask you USER TYPE?. If you are doing all that correctly than I would say that you wait a couple hours to try to log in again. Maybe your online access to the website was locked because you had multiple invalid sign in attempts. So just wait a couple hours, I would say even better until tomorrow morning to try to log in again. Good Luck!!

Just go ahead and double check that all your information in the USCIS website is correct. Make sure you have provided with the right email and phone number and make sure you have actually turned on the notifications so they can notify you when your case has been updated. Good Luck !!!.. I really hope you get approved SOON !!
