Never give up man. That was my motto. I wrote it on a piece of paper and taped it to my mirror so every time I looked at it, I get reminded not to give up. I, myself got denied and felt depressed and sad. The great thing about this site are the people. Be patient and don't lose faith. Find something to do to keep your mind occupied. It will take time but when you get , it will be all worth it. The pain and struggle. There's one user that I can cope with and her name is Yureelee. Sorry if I spelled your name wrong. The struggle is the same pain that we all feel. God blessed me. I got denied for DACA but got approved for permanent resident. Your gonna hear from them sooner then you think. Just don't stress yourself because you didn't get a notice. Immigration is a long and complicated situation. Be positive and have faith. If any question from you or anybody you know, I have some knowledge about this and willing to help anyone if I can.

HI, I DON'T HAVE MUCH EVIDENCE TO PROVE THAT I WAS HERE BETWEEN 2007-2012 SINCE I GRADUATED HS IN 2005. NEVER GOT A JOB OR DID THINGS THAT WOULD LEAVE ME WITH DOCUMENTS. I RECENTLY CAME ACROSS MY DADS INCOME TAX RETURN FOR 2007 AND HE LISTED ME AS A DEPENDENT. IT SHOWS MY NAME , SOCIAL NUMBER, AND HOUSE ADDRESS. IS THIS SUFFICIENT ENOUGH TO PROVE THAT I WAS HERE IN THE STATES FOR THE YEAR 2007? ANY ADVICE IS MUCH APPRECIATED, THANK YOU ALL.

Congrats.

If not having one year of proof (2007) what are my chances of getting approved? I have everything else in the DACA guidelines just nothing for 2007. I heard of people being approved even though they did't have certain evidence but can obviously prove everything else.

I have very little proof for 2011 and 2012, I have a rental agreement for the end of 2011 until mid June 2012. Will this be enough proof to show them that i was paying rent in the end of 2011 till mid june 2012? If so do need to show rent receipts as well? -
You should of gotten some kind of update by now, I got an rfe then i sent in the evidence and I got an update about 2 weeks later. sign up for email/text updates but you should call the office and ask why you haven't received and updates about your case.
-
Can you reapply again after you got denied?
-
you haven't got an type of notice or updates about your case? Did you sign up for text/email updates? It's a possibility that there just back logged and have too much applications to deal with. you would get RFE before you get denied so don't lose hope. Some places are different so it can take some time, but it shouldn't take this long to get some kind of notice.

No not yet, I called uscis and the lady told me to go talk to the local office nearby. The reason i was denied was because I have not established that I have continuously resided in the US since june 15, 2007, until the date of filing your request. Which I proved 4/5 years except for 2012. Since I got only 1 check mark I am going to file it myself but making sure for a fact that I will get approved this time. In the DACA guidelines they showed that you can use your social security card to show proof of presence on june 15, 2012 and also proof I have been residing here since june 15, 2007. What kind of documents did you use for that specifically?
-
I hear you James...Have you got any updates about your case? When you filed did you use an attorney or do it by yourself? I only ask because I got denied and I can help you not get denied with information that I have. Me, I would have to reapply I'm no threat to this country nor society. The person who handled my case must of thought I didn't prove enough but even my attorney said it was good enough. Out of 15 check boxes I got only 1 so hopefully I can figure out what needs to be done and get approved once and for all. sign up for email and text updates so when you get a notice you can check your case online.

What documents did you use exactly to get approved? I got 1 check mark out of 15 and it is for a dumb reason. Reason for is because i couldn't continuously proof i was here since JUNE 15, 2007 which was proven with transcripts, medical and dental redords and affidavits.. What other documents do you think I can use to get approved?
-
I have medical and dental and transcripts for 07,08,09,10 and typed out an affidavit for june 15 2012. I do not have bills or bank statements. I don/t understand how people can have back accounts without a ssn. I do not have my notice of denial mailed to me yet. I graduated in 05 never left the country because if I did how would I leave and get back in...I have no legal documents.
-
Can you explain a bit more? I'm confused right now about being unlawful in 2007, 2008...I was being unlawful for having proof that DACA asked for? I illegally broke the law, how and what law?
-
I've heard of people writing affidavits but I don't know, like you said if uscis accepts that for proof of june 15, 2012. How can I re-apply if I sent in all my documents and evidence to uscis that is everything I had. I do not have anything else. It's impossible to apply again, with what kind of proof now? If they send it back I can do it again and pay the fee but I have nothing else on me but what I sent. I suppose I can get those documents back but it will take time and calling and mailing out, but at the end it would be the same results. until i get the notice of why I got denied, I'm pretty confused.

They wanted picture I.D, proof of 2007-2010 and 2012. I sent in transcripts for 2008, medical records for 2009-2010 dental records 2008-2009 I don't have nothing for 2011 and 2012. since I have no proof of 2012 when DACA started, I asked my attorney and he said an affidavit would work. He even typed it out and email it to me and i had my neighbors who I see everyday sign it. When he got the package he said it was good enough. I sent it information that showed i was in the states of November 2012 as well. I do not have a criminal background.

I sent in my application in October and they received it on October 26, did my bio in November 27 didn't hear from them till around May. Called my attorney and he told me I should get some kind of notice by the end of the month which I did from him. I didn't get the notice from uscis till a month later. In beginning of June when I went to check my case status. The notice was an RFE by the way. I Gathered all the information that I was told to collect and I did that, took me a month to call and mail and wait for all those paper to come in. Sent in my package to my attorney and he got it and looked over it and said it was good. He sent it in mid July and today I got a text and email update on my case. I go online to check it out and it said denied. Whats next? Do I reopen or reapply and pay the fee and wait for many month just to get denied again. I do not understand that part. Why go through the same exact process and spend a lot of money to get denied again. Also do the people who get denied get their money and packages back? I came to the US in 1990 went to school K-12 and a couple semesters of community college. Came here LEGALLY with my mom on a travelers visa and we over stayed. Didn't know I was undocumented till I was a sophomore in HS when I passed drivers ed and was ready to go to the DMV to take my written test. I did't have the right documents. At first I wasn't really concerned just thought it was those things that can be taken care of later. After graduation I started to get concerned because I had many questions but no answers. Also I applied for PR in late on 2011 and still no answers. I heard it can take up to 10 years for that to happen but I may of heard differently. I'm new to this site but have been researching it for many months and have decided to join my brothers and sisters. I'm no legal expert but I do have a licensed immigration attorney on my side so if any questions and concerns please feel the urge to write me and I will help answer your questions with the best of my abilities. Same goes to me, if you read this and have any input on what I should do next please write me back. Until then may GOD BLESS all of his children till the day we get approved.

I got a text and email update about my case. I went online to check out my case status and it said denied. Before I got denied I got an RFE. My attorney called me and told me everything I needed to prove so I did that. Took me a month to gather all the information I needed. I didn't have proof of when the DACA went into effect. June 15, 2012. I had typed out an affidavit and had my neighbors sign it. What happens next for those who get denied? Can we reopen or reapply? But that doesn't make sense to me because if you reapply and pay the fee it would just be the same thing again. Do we get our packets and money back for being denied?
