  2. Why Is It Taking Soo Long ?!?

Do you know if your congress rep. Is pro daca. If they are try contacting them so they can look into your case. I was on my 8th month and about a week, week and a half later I was approved. Out of the blue so I do think she helped me.
  3. Scholarships

Look into the California dream act. Also I'm assuming that you are looking into one of those devry out in 7 months type of school ( which the California dream act might not cover but Idk) my advice to you would be to just attend a regular community college and take the medical assisting program there. It might take you just a bit longer but trust me it looks better on your resume. I know a lot of people who went to those programs and no job, a ton of debt. Medical assisting alone should not cost 17k my A.S degree didn't even cost that much. Goodluck!
  4. 8 Months!!!!

No, they never asked me. I had a lot of things, shots, school records student ids, bank account activity since 2004. College records.
  5. Grants Or Financial Aid?

Look into the California dream act. That should give you plenty of information.
  6. If he was chargrd, I don't think he would qualify even if its expunged. Which sucks because they should look at who the person is now. good luck and I really hope it works out for you guys.
  7. 8 Months!!!!

    Thanks guys!
  8. Any February Applicants Still Waiting

    Still nothing..... Hopefully soon
  9. There are many factors that go into it. In my case for example, I got a DUI when I was 16. I was not really drunk but because I was a minor I got charged with it. I also got it sealed. I was convinced that I did not qualify but I decided to seek legal advice just to be sure. I spoke with several lawyers looking and expecting one to tell me I would not qualify. by the way im turning 27 in a couple months and ive been in the U.S since I was 2 (just a little background) I was told by all of them that from previous cases I would be OK. I was told they take age and all details into account. All appications are looked at on a case by case bases. ( at least I hope). Still waiting to hear something, going on my 8th month now so of course im feeling very nervous but its in God hands now. whats your situiation? if you don't mind me asking. Good Luck to you and me
  10. Deferred Action And Dui

I think you might be fine. I got a dui when I was 16 I got my record sealed I'm 26 now. I spoke with several lawyers before I applied and I was told that I would be ok. You were not actually charged, I am not a lawyer so I would seek legal advice before doing anything just to cover all your bases. Good luck !
