  1. Hey guys, My name is Franco and I just signed up to the forum hoping you guys can help me with a quick question! So basically I received my work permit in May of this year, and I got my Florida license soon after. I tried applying to Miami Dade Community College for the fall semester but the school required me to turn in a DHS Document (???). I want to start school for the Spring Semester and would like to know what it is I need to show the school to be able to study. This is what it says in the email they send me: Dear Franco: We are reviewing your financial aid application for the 2013-2014 academic year. Your file is currently incomplete and processing cannot continue until you provide or update the following information: - DHS Document - Confirming Eligible Immigrant Status The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has not confirmed your immigration status to establish eligibility for financial aid. You must submit a copy of your current immigration document(s) to your Financial Aid Office So please if anyone has had to deal with this and knows the answer please help me out Thanks in advance guys. Franco
