Hey there, dreamers! My name is Mark, I'm from Chile been living in the U.S for about 12 years, I'm 25 years old, and i hope to find some friends in here, that I could share my experience with the so-called DACA Act, I don't know if this is the right place, but I'm in despair, I've been waiting for more than a year to get approved, and I'm still waiting for an answer....i did all the process with my lawyer, he told me that i have to keep waiting....(not much help)....I applied for the I-821D and the I-765, USCIS received my applications on September 11, 2012. I got my biometrics done on October 11, 2012.....after all that i got a letter in the mail from USCIS asking for more evidence(RFE) I responded with more evidence before the exp date(april 11, 2013)! I looked at the USCIS website and search with my Receipt Number and it says that they received my evidence on march 5,2013....okay so far so good but after march 5, 2013 i haven't heard from them.....i called 3 times and no help...the only thing they could do was to service request because they knew it was outside of normal processing times....well after my third time calling them i got a lletter in the mail from USCIS saying the following; "We have received your inquiry stating that your consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (form I-821D) is beyond the expected six month processing period. USCIS is making every effort to process these cases within the sated times-frames and hope to move your case in the near future. However, at this time we cannot provide a specific date on which a final decision will be made on your request for deferred action."
I-821D: September 11, 2012.
I-765: September 11, 2012.
Biometrics: October 11, 2012.
RFE: received by USCIS on March 5, 2013. Exp date was April 11, 2013.
After e-request and 3 or more calls to USCIS, still nothing....
BTW, my case is being processed at the Vermont Service Center......I'm losing hope....
