Apparently it's very normal! I have also have been waiting for 8 months! It's easy to get anxious and run out of patience BUT we just have to WAIT...'waiting' has to be our best friend right now

I got a DUI(misdemeanor) six years ago. I applied April 2013..and I am still waiting for my approval, it's been 8 months now! -

Hi, if you don't mind me asking what was your misdemeanor? The reason i am asking is because I got a misdemeanor too but it was back 2007 and I am scared I will get declined . Mine was a DUI but I had the ticket expunged. My start date is April 2013 and I have been waiting for 8 months now...

Wow! Really... That means I have a chance, good news. I really wanted to know if someone w a DUI had ever got approved. ..good to know. I have hope now. I will stay positive. Btw, that DUI has since been expunged as well. Thanks for your comment. -
Sorry you feel this way.... but many of us have been waiting for a long time too! Some wait 3 months, others wait 6 months or more! It's suppose to be 4-6 months but that's BS. I have been waiting for 8 months and I still have not heard back from USCIS. Some days my patience are really low, other days I say F*** it I have been waiting for a long time already mine as well be positive and wait a little more. We're all chasing the same dream, stay positive! Good luck!

You need to see an attorney to help you. To petition for your husband it can be anywhere from $3,000-$10,000 depending on your case and what lawyer you go too. Good Luck!!
