It's a long story guys but to summarize: My middle brother has fallen into a deep depression for two months now and we're about to get kicked out of our apartment. As a result my mom would like to inquire and see if there's a chance he can apply for unemployment since he has the work permit, SSN and Ca Driver's license when they did Differed action. That said, we both file taxes. I'm 20 (legally born here) and he's 28, has 20 or so years here in the state.
Mom would really appreciate a response by today but since this is a forum, the opinions of people will vary and that's okay. So in *your* opinion (personal, professional or as a dreamer) do you think one can file for unemployment? I'd like to specify he worked for Cintas, CORP but was fired from the company because he denied talking with the people since he wasn't in the mood at the time and the depression struck him hard. In-N-Out however has him in limbo (meaning he's not technically 'fired' but he can decide to continue working or quit anytime. -- They're not paying him either.)
