Some advice if you haven't yet applied, you are from Mexico, and live in Southern California: Be sure to contact Public Counsel, they will facilitate requesting money from the consulado for your legal fees and application fees. The Mexican government has set aside funds to help DACA applicants pay the fees. You must go through one of the approved providers, Public Counsel is one of them. I ended up paying just $65 after the consulado sent check to Public Counsel.
  2. Hey Geisel, I waited about 6 months from the date USCIS received my application to the day I received a text and email telling me I was approved. My application originally went to the California Service Center and was then transferred to Nebraska.
  3. Approved 10/2/14 and eagerly awaiting arrival of EAD. Got my tracking number with expected delivery 10/9/14. So surreal, but its happening.
