Have you tried replying for DACA? My understanding is you can fly with a DL people were flying before with a Mexican Passport.

UPDATE: The first time around I didn't get approved because of my DUI. I resent everything again but this time with an expunged DUI. Once I did that I went through the same process again except I went to do my biometrics twice because my information was being update. This was on March now it's may & well I received the good news I was accepted. I have some questions. The letter I received reads as follows: Your application for employment authorization has been approved. The form I-766, Employment Authorization Document, was sent under separate cover to the beneficiary. In other words they are mailing it to me? Do I wait until it arrives. Second question how to I obtain my SSN number.

Hello everyone! This happen to me recently. I went to my biometrics a month ago everything went as usual.. 2 weeks ago I receive another biometrics appointment. I called the number on the paper they told me just to forget about it since I already went. Now I'm the type of person that likes to make sure. So I decided to go to the actual place where I took the biometrics. I spoke to someone right away she told me that the WAC numbers were different. I ask why she said because for some reason they are updating them. I don't know if that's good news or bad. Has this happen to anyone?

You need to go on uscis website for information. but the best thing to do is talking to an immigration attorney.

Expunge your DUI once that is ready send the copy the court will give if it's expunge. Send that with your package. They send me a paper saying they were not sure if they were going to accept my package because my biometrics showed I had a DUI now a NOID does not automatically mean you're disqualify it means they are not sure yet. I had 30 days to reply

I do apologize for not updating my case. 2 months ago I received a NOID Notice Of Intent To Deny Now this is not saying I was not approve by it basically means they are not sure if I'm going to be approved because of my DUI. I have sent them a copy that I'm getting my DUI Expunge and some other papers. I'm still waiting. The key here is and I didn't do from that start was the following. Get your DUI Expunged it's a very simple process. Go to your court house where you had your DUI tell them you want to get your DUI Expunge.They will give you the paper work it only takes a couple of minutes to fill it out. They charge anywhere from 120 or so but you can a waiver. It takes about a month or so to get approved or not. Then send that copy with your package for DACA. Mine was approved a month ago but I only had 30 days to sent a reply to the NOID so I didn't have a chance to sen them the copy.

If you're applying for for DACA you must understand this is not for citizenship. It's a 2 year permit to legally work in the US and obtain a license. Also at any time it can be revoked. If you checked online and it tells you, you have an appointment but you have not received any letter contact USCI

I just saw this. Update: Due to a federal court order, USCIS will not begin accepting requests for the expansion of DACA on February 18 as originally planned. The court's temporary injunction, issued February 16, does not affect the existing DACA. Individuals may continue to come forward and request an initial grant of DACA or renewal of DACA under the guidelines established in 2012 and discussed below. Please check back for updates.

I hope so. Most people that are not in our situation are quick to speak. In other forums I always see the following "They don't pay taxes,they take our jobs etc" I pay taxes & a high percentage of immigrants do too.What jobs? jobs Americans don't want to do. For most of us this is our home now,we didn't choose to come here we were brought here at a young age. I don't understand why DACA is such a problem for Republicans. We initially pay to see if we get approve & then once again for a renewal. There's also requirements that need to be met. If you get in trouble you're disqualified. They know there's not going to be an immigration reform so at least give us this much.
