Hey Guys! Happy Holidays. I just received my Biometrics appointment it's on 1/6/2015 After that it's another waiting game. As I posted before I received a DUI 6 years ago.Someone posted he was decline but other have posted some have been approved,I'm just crossing my fingers.

How long does it usually take to receive you bio appointment? Do they send you a letter?

What kind of criminal record was it? If you don't mind.So others can have hope....

Hey Theresa. My Deferred Action Angel I received a message saying they received my 821d form and work form and that they are sending my receipt by mail.Then follow the instructions.

Joan I'm in the same boat. I have a DUI that happen on 2007 I was like you "Afraid" Don't be. I send my package with copies of my arrest & court papers. I attached letters from my local church,friends & family member speaking on my behalf. On the USCIS I read the part about Significant Misdemeanor that you're disqualified if you have that.But it also said there's "Exceptional Circumstances" I wrote that I need to help mom & my younger brother that lives with me (US citizen) things like that. You have nothing loose.You won't get deported the only that will happen if you don't qualified is loose your money.But it's an investment for your future... I'm being hopeful that I do qualified.

How long those it take for them to contact you? I don't know the process. They received my package on Saturday.I tracked it down...

Hey Theresa! Yes I did check. I want to thank you,you have been very helpful. I already received a letter from my local church to show I'm a good person. I will updated my case when I can. Maybe it will help someone in the future.I need to send everything asap knowing Obama's term comes to end next year.

Did she write any letter explain how bad she wanted this or anything like that? Because that's what I'm going to do. I gave up on DACA because of the DUI but thanks to this blow I have hope.

By the way did your friend get her DUI expunged? before she send it?

I have a copy. My copy does not look like that. It's a package detailing all my payments & counts at the end it says case closed. What's the name of the post?

All that I know is the case was closed. I will call tomorrow & find out if the violations were dismissed. Is there another thread that talks further about DUI cases in here Theresa? I've talked to Immigration Lawyers but they all say I don't qualify.

Did you expunged your DUI first or did some of you get approved without doing that. Did you write a letter saying how bad you wanted this? I'm located in California.
