im new to this since i googled the process of DACA and approvals etc. i had applied in July 2014, had my paperwork sent back twice because i didn't thoroughly check one question and i forgot one signature. once i revised what i forgot to add, i sent the paperwork back. I then received my biometrics apppointment in mid august at the New Orleans office. I waited there for some time because I didn't have a more recent and up to date photo identification. also because all of my school records, medical appointments, etc were originally from California, my application was redirected to Laguna Niguel, CA. My DACA application was then approved in October 2014. I tried to get my state ID today but apparently Louisiana isn't aware DACA applicants. or something. the people at the dmv kept saying i needed an i 94 form or visa. i mean the reason i applied for DACA was because i didn't have those documents. has anyone experienced this? or maybe its because i'm in louisiana?
