Thank you guys! this really helps... I did enter with a passport and visa anyway. A lot of people are asking if the passport is required, I guess it is if you have it, to prove this exact question. Will it be okay to renew my passport after I file though?

Yeah, totally agree. When you read through the uscis site about deferred action they do explain the difference between this new law and what the dream act is. Of course theyre two different things.

wait wait..... it makes sense now but since it says "or your lawful immigration status expired as of June 15, 2012" that means if you came with a visa and passport, right? soooo... this also means we do have to show our expired passport and visa? I will probably have to end up calling uscis. Lol!

Four year college of course. I would say a posibility into the national guard because they are more "local" but I'd prefer to go to college and build up my career.

I'm not sure what days to request since I'm currently living in oklahoma and want to send everything from Texas.

Itzel, so you are planning to fill out the form as soon as uscis releases it and then run to mail it? I wish I was able to do that! You pretty much have every needed document ready.

First, run to get my license because I drive. Next, find a better paying job, then go back to college...with time maybe a new car!
