It's been 79 days for you after the biometrics. If my calculations are correct then that's 2 months and 19 days?

Use A Passport Instead Of A Birth Certificate To Apply For A Ssn
Rawf replied to Moises's topic in Life After Deferred Action
I used my passport and ead. Nothing else. But what Alejandra said is true, you only need one identification other than the EAD. -
I know two people who were approved for over $5,000. same situation. It depends on the state you live in.

Depends if there is any part on the highway where they will ask for your documents. I took a road trip from RI to Texas which is a 30 hours drive and didn't have issues, but you are on the other side of the country. I know someone went to Texas and went through a check point, but that someone had already been accepted. It depends how confident and planned your road trip is. Check where the check points are and then plan from there

Question To Whoever Have Been Approved Already
Rawf replied to 020490's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
What says your case won't be delayed because it was stapled when they said not to. What if someone at the office says, "erm don't feel like taking the time to unstapple all the documents.. *sets documents stappled aside and continues with others who did follow the instructions*. I don't know, think about it. My advise, don't staple anything. Use Binder Clips, you can find like 40 small ones for 5 bucks at staples, or office max. -
Can Someone Board A Plane With No Id
Rawf replied to lebronjames's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
Horrible idea to try it as you are not a citizen and your ssn most likely doesn't have a record history yet. But if you do it, then arrive early at the airport because they don't guarantee you will be out of the interview room before your flight leaves. -

You know how to do business!

You have to insist so they know you are serious about getting the job. It isn't always the case, but sometimes you have to insist. Always check online what's the pay rate, don't accept less.

Eric Cantor On Immigration: Children Of The Undocumented Should Get Citizenship
Rawf replied to splif0clock's topic in Dream Act News
Yeah children makes me thing below the age of 14 -.- that would be a disaster because then parents would have to sign all the papers and since they are illegal, wouldn't there be a risk? Going to USCIS, possibly to immigration directly. =/ -
It is the last step to your new life It's worth it.

Eric Cantor On Immigration: Children Of The Undocumented Should Get Citizenship
Rawf replied to splif0clock's topic in Dream Act News
To children? What would childrens do with citizenship? What a low move! -
It might be, so is driving without a license, opening bank accounts, etc.. people still do it. What would you do then? Not file taxes at all and be one more illegal immigrant evading taxes? Not right at all.

You still don't get my point. You work with a fake ssn and file taxes using the ITIN (assigned by the government). (Illegal immigrant) You work with a fake ssn and file taxes using your valid SSN(assigned by the government). (Legal Immigrant) Once you use your real ssn to file for taxes, you cannot longer use the fake ssn to work, that will get you in serious trouble. If there were any issues, then the IRS would deny the file of taxes and refuse to give you a refund.

Where have you been looking? A lot of my friends found jobs using craigslist and while it is risky, I'm sure you are smart enough to tell the difference from a fake and legit company.
