Name isn't that common, maybe the last name. So many factors of why it can be taking so long, it also depends on the person who takes your case.

Vermont seems to be a little behind than any other centers, I'm sure they will get to yours soon. May I ask if you have a common name?

why do some get approved before others

Let continue this in private, this has gotten off-topic a little too much. Thank you. -
with this work permit can you work for at&t?
Rawf replied to Infusion's topic in Life After Deferred Action
That requires a lot of time to process, remember advance parole takes months. But it is a possibility. -

Yes of course, what you can't do is jobs that require you to travel outside the US (unless they sponsor a visa somehow), and some government agencies. -

Common names could be a factor, do you have criminal record? There are way too many reasons to list them. I was approved 2 weeks before my sister, and we are brother and sister living in the same house. It happens, they will get to yours By the way, we all get different people and depends how fast they work to process the documents. -
I hope you meant November because today is December 18.. Unless you can go to the future, it is impossible lol.

Very unlikely, it would cost them a fortune and it is easier to just let go of such person.

This is so confusing, not even the operators on the phone have such information. But anything is possible.

This might sound scary, but here is what my employer is doing. He knows I'm working with fake papers under my real name, and because I'm using my real name and a fake social security they can't just change things from one day to the other one. That can raise a red flag with the IRS and other Government Agencies and could cause a lot of issues to the company. What my employer is going to do is "fire" me for 2 weeks, after the two weeks are up I can fill out an application (Which I have already done so) and use my real information. Maybe this is because they do an e-verify to all employees. Hope yours goes as smooth, sometimes telling the truth can bring a lot of good things.

Churros is a fried dough with sugar, sometimes people like to add cinnamon powder to it. In my country we buy churros that are fried with plain white sugar on the outside and in the inside there's dulce de leche, my godness it is so good!

They don't usually tell you an exact date your application will be looked at. Confirm that the representative told you about your application being looked at on February 27th, or was that just an estimate?

It is like a SSN, it doesn't expires on it's own.

I did it all by myself, sister did hers by herself as well and we are both approved.

Glad to see how optimistic people are here /ends sarcasm. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Like I said Raul, letters aren't enough. You have to provide more than that. Mainly what Silvia posted. But don't get discouraged, Look deeper into all your papers. You might be surprised what you find. Just keep a fresh mind, a frustrated mind won't help

Vacationing close to the Mexico/US border HELP!
Rawf replied to ツ alejandriiukz ㋡'s topic in Life After Deferred Action
As long as you are IN the US, you have to have with you an ID, your EAD and the DACA acceptance letter (can be a copy). As long as you show your ID, I don't think the rest will be really needed.. but take it just in case and hope you have an awesome trip. -
Yes you can, but you won't be able to work as a flight attendant or pilot for that matter. To be accepted, you have to be a permanent resident (even for local flights) and be able to speak English very well.

Can i take my expired Passport for my Biometrics?
Rawf replied to dennis8648's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
I don't think they will take an expired passport, but you may be lucky. The photo doesn't matter as long as the password is not expired, I was told by the security officer at the entrance. -
I cant find my case on USCIS website.
Rawf replied to YourFriend_Gzuz's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
Could be a delay, or you simply won't be able to track your case online at all. You can always call the USCIS and ask about your status updates. -
Of course mexico has to be on top.

I did lol

Do everything on computer and just sign it using a black ink pen.
