I did, but like I said. I wouldn't risk someone adding extra information to my form. It's personal preference.

When you fill a legal form, the lines that does not apply to you shouldn't be left blank. There are a lot of things in the instructions that aren't being followed. You don't follow every law, do you? You follow the attorney's advice if you want, or you go your own way. You won't get denied because you left it blank or used not applicable. N/A is a safe way to prevent someone from adding information to your application that you did not put in, leaving it blank you risk someone adding dangerous information.

Going outside the country to attend college at a different country is not recommended either. Why would they give you a work permit just so you can go outside the country to study and contribute to some other country, while the US doesn't gain anything back? You get a work permit to work here in the US, not to study elsewhere. See that's why documents are so hard to get after, people abuse them. People get the opportunity to work legally and after getting it, they want to run away to study at some other country. Makes no sense what-so-ever.

DACA: Driver's Licenses For Undocumented Immigrants Vary By State (VIDEO) The Huffington Post

Yup, I've read that. What I meant to say is that I haven't heard anything in the local news about DACA. But thank you for the link -
You can't use N/A if you fill it up on your computer. The right answer would be Not Applicable.

How to obtain a Social Security Number after DACA Approval
Rawf replied to JoseG's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
That is correct, while your card is being made and mailed you can go back to the SS Office and request your number. You can take that to the DMV and get your identification. I think it takes 4 days for the SS Office to have your number, I don't think they give it to you right away but I might be wrong. -
I forgot to include that even with travel permit, the person at the airport can deny the reentry. It is a tricky situation. I would love to be able to travel and see my family, specially grandma.

To travel outside the USA, you must apply for Advance Parole after you receive your work permit. The advance parole is a travel permit that lets you travel whenever you need to go for a limited time and it must be a valid reason such as the death of someone very close to you, sickness, and any other emergency cases. I wouldn't apply for Advance parole until you talk about it with your immigration attorney, Advance Parole comes with a lot of risks and your reentry to the US is up to the immigration officer in the airport. He will most likely ask you for copies of the reason as to why you had to travel and your Work Permit will show a Advance Parole text which will be shipped to you once your travel permit is accepted. The advance parole application is called I-131, the application is not free and depending on your age is the price you will pay to have it processed. Also note that your first work permit will include a message in the card saying "NOT VALID FOR REENTRY TO THE U.S.", while the second card will include "SERVES AS X-XXX ADVANCE PAROLE"

It is extremely sad to read so much hatred coming from Arizona, I've heard Massachusetts is going that path as well -
Arizona Denies Dreamers GED Classes to Block Deferred-Action
Rawf replied to Rawf's topic in Dream Lounge
I don't understand why so much hatred towards immigrants in Arizona. I can't imagine how hard it would to actually be living there as an immigrant right now, I live in a state where Police Offices can't ask for your legal status and you can go to college without paying out-of-state tuition. Where you can use a college ID or passport to get tickets at the train station and not be looked down as an immigrant and be seen as a visitor or student. We are so luck that some of us can still have the freedom, even thought we are still illegal immigrants. -
I actually sent the entire paypal record from 2007 and from then on, all the bank statements! It printed so many pages.. If you buy online a lot, you might have the proof needed.

Many didn't include the SSN they use to work in the application.

For anyone who already have taken their biometrics test, what should we expect?
Rawf replied to Bee1989's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
When I went to the ASC office today, all they asked was for the appointment letter. They didn't want any other paper. The officer took the letter and passport to some office, I assume for verification it is indeed valid and not fake. -

No, because I went there to ask to see if they would take my passport and they said yes. So the college ID wasn't needed in my case. -
By what month will we be able to work, after doing biometrics?
Rawf replied to itzel's topic in Dream Lounge
I'm pretty sure it takes less than 30 days to get the AED Card in the mail -

I was asked if I was enrolled in school when I went to the ASC Office today, so a college ID should be good. -

How to obtain a Social Security Number after DACA Approval
Rawf replied to JoseG's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
Everyone accepted will have all the proper identification to get a social security number. Still doesn't say why some may or may not qualify. Not exactly sure, but once you get the EAD, you can apply for a SSN right away.. just take the EAD and passport.. sounds easy, but why they use the word "may" as if in some cases people won't qualify even after getting an EAD. As far as I know to work the EAD is not enough, you still need a SSN or no company will hire you. -
