Most college require you to have completed 4 years of high school in the same state to qualify to in-state fees and tuitions. Your best option is to talk to a financial advisor at the school you're interested in attending.

Travelling Outside The Us Once Daca Approval
Rawf replied to chuckster954's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
^ What she said and unless it is an extreme emergency, you won't be granted AP. -
I don't know if someone else could handle me, I don't know what I'm suppose to be, you're the only one who really sees.. You get me.

It does not mean your case will be expedited or looked at any faster. The previous center is probably too full and they are now transferring cases to other more "empty" centers. But it won't take as long (hopefully).

Concerned About Tranferring Credit History To New Ssn
Rawf replied to Marose's topic in Dream Lounge
You cannot transfer history from a fake ssn to your newly assigned one. The only history you can transfer is the one from the ITIN. Good luck. -
9 Months Waiting To Get An Rfe!!!!!
Rawf replied to Laste31's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
At least you now know your case is being looked at and soon after replying to the rfe you will have the approval. (hopefully). Is there anything you can think of that you forgot to send? -
Best Credit Cards To Apply For After Daca
Rawf replied to dreamerinnc's topic in Life After Deferred Action
Let's make this real because a lot of you are applying without having an income. YOU MUST HAVE AN INCOME TO BE APPROVED FOR A CREDIT CARD. WITHOUT A JOB YOU WILL BE DENIED. ALSO! Your credit score will decrease by 3 points each time you apply for a credit card, or any other service that checks your credit score. Such points will be back within 3 months. -
This is not news, please post in the correct place next time. Thank you so much. >>MOVED<<

He was approved for deferred action, his work authorization case is still under review. But most likely it is just a delay.

Just call USCIS and ask to speak to a manager and explain the situation. They might be able to get you a new card, else you will have to wait 30 days for USPS to report the mail as lost or if found they might send it back to the USCIS. You will eventually get it, don't worry too much about it.

Some people are approved, others aren't. But according to the law, those approved for DACA cannot apply for any federal support. Do it at your own risk.

Isn't that kind of normal income for a family of 4? What if the person is above 25 (the law looks at them as an "independent" person)? Still can't believe people can be so heartless.. I bet none of them have idea how hurtful it is to be an undocumented immigrant. We should all make the government remove their documents for a month and see what they think after working hours in a factory getting paid the minimum wage... I bet their ideas would be completely changed.

Not everyone gets a tracking number. It will arrive, no matter what. It usually takes a week or two, if not.. then I would worry.

Here it is.

Many cases are not placed in the system like Gezinha said. If you are one of those case, you won't be able to check your status online, you can call and ask about it.
-
That is extremely unfair. How will this solve anything at all? Specially since that citizenship path is so long.
-
This couldn't have been explained better. I just hope you sent all the court documents as USCIS will request them in a RFE if you didn't. Best of luck!
-
Since you're in contact with two attorneys, why don't you ask them for a straight forward answer? Sorry to heard about that and I wish you the best.
-
If you received the EAD, then rest assure the approval DACA Letter will be arriving within days. Congratulations to all of you!

There's no exact time, it can take days, weeks, months and in some cases years since there's no waiting time for DACA. You are going to have to be patient, looks like your application was sent not too long ago.
