oh okay just trying get an idea thanks omg 4 weeks that will drive me nuts i already want to apply for my job!

After you apply, like 2-3 days after, you can call the Social Security Administraton at 1-800-772-1213 and ask if you have been issued a social security number. If they say yes, you can go back to the social security office and ask to get a print out. They will give you a paper with your name and number on it.
