I'm not sure. If you fail, when can you retake the test? You're going to have to send something back to USCIS before the RFE deadline expires. Either pass the GED exam, or sign up for classes.
-
So you were issued a Request for Evidence requesting proof that you're currently in school. You have to pass that test and send proof of it.
-
Have you been approved for your I-821D? One of the main requirements is to be in school, have graduated high school or obtained a GED. If you aren't doing or have already done one of those, then yes, you will be denied. Were you in school when you applied for DACA then quit going to school? Or did you apply while you were already out of school?
-
Contact USCIS and let them know about the error. They will let you know what steps you have to do in order to get the problem resolved. Your sister will have to send back her EAD.

You can find all of the information on the Texas Department of Public Safety website. http://www.txdps.state.tx.us/driverlicense/applyforlicense.htm

Did you check your e-mail for receipts? I sent paypal receipts from my ebay purchases from 2010-2012.

Know Anyone That Has Been Denied? Also Need Some Advice!

I think you'll be fine. USCIS allows up to 3 non-significant misdemeanors. If it was just drug paraphernalia and you say you were innocent, then I don't think it will be an issue. Unless you were drug trafficking or distribution, it's not a significant misdemeanor. -

Did you purchase any items online like on ebay, amazon or any other sites? If so, check your e-mail account for receipts. Do you have a facebook account? Did you have any check-ins that show the location and the date during those dates?

I Think I Just Got Approved! Help.
JoseG replied to Rica1993's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
Congrats. You will receive two approval letters in the mail within a few days. You will then receive your EAD shortly after that. After you have received your EAD, you will be able to apply for an SSN. -
Everyone has to go through the background checks. That's where most of the waiting happens. Some people have more stuff that needs to be cleared than others.
-
You can go to any SSA office.
-
Well, an RFE can be a step closer if you have what they're requesting.
-
As bad as it sounds, there's nothing you can do to speed up your case. A congressmen, e-service request, Service Request, Officer, won't do anything to speed up your case.
-
Either that, or carry a copy of your I-821D approval letter in your car or wallet if you know you will encounter Border Patrol.
-
En este caso yo creo que si es necesario cargarla si sabes que hay posibilidad de que pases por una inspecion de imigracion. Ten cuidado en no perderla.
-
I carried my EAD with me when I initially received it. I never really used it, I guess I was just excited that I had something I could use as an ID for the first time in my life. I was careful with it though. I carried it in my wallet and I put the wallet in my front pocket lol. After I got my state ID I put the EAD away. I wrote my SSN down on a small piece of paper and carried it in my wallet until I was able to memorize my number.

Request For Evidence (Request Service)
JoseG replied to TheGame1990's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
If they filled out Page 5 of form I-821D, then it's possible that they could have gotten it. -
When you go to apply for an SSN, take your Passport, Birth Certificate and EAD. Usually you only need one or the other, Passport or Birth Certificate, so you should be fine with the expired passport.

Request For Evidence (Request Service)
JoseG replied to TheGame1990's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
If you didn't apply with an attorney, then the RFE might have been a false update since you didn't get it within 15 days. Now USCIS put in a Service Request and you will receive a letter in the mail within 15 days explaining what happened. -
9 Months Waiting To Get An Rfe!!!!!

That sucks, but hopefully they're requesting something simple and you get approved shortly after sending it back. Good luck. -
For Us Dreamers, What Are We Exactly Getting With The Immigration Reform?
JoseG replied to dreamer2008's topic in Create a Poll
Yes Yes No With the proposed RPI status, we would be able to join the military, travel outside of the U.S. and us dreamers would be able to apply for Permanent Residence after 5 years instead of the 10 years it would take everyone else.
