  1. Biometrics Walk Ins?

Nah, they're just going to take your fingerprints, signature and a photo of just your face.
  2. Biometrics Walk Ins?

Sometimes. I went in for my Biometrics about 2 weeks before my appointment and the guard let me in without a problem. Then I went again about a week later but this time it was for my sister's Biometrics and they almost didn't let us in. It will depend on how busy they are.
  3. About The Driver License !!

Are you under 18? Yes, the DATA course is required for the leaner's permit. You can take it at any of these two websites. Once you have passed the course, you can then go to the DMV and take the 40 question test, or you can do it online for a fee. http://www.123drivin...rs-permit.shtml http://www.highschoo...m/learner.shtml
  4. No, you need to take the EAD and a passport or birth certificate.
  5. Approved... Yes!

    Congrats!
  6. The SSN numbers themselves are no different than a U.S. Citizen's. The problem is that our SSNs are NEW, so they aren't in all of the system's yet. You need to establish credit with your number so that it can be looked up. Your number isn't ran with the SSA for verification, it is ran with credit unions. By the time a U.S. Citizen uses his SSN, it has been issued for at least 15+ years.
  7. That will depend on the reason for the denial.
  8. Senate Immigration Bill Revealed

Here are some pretty stupid ones. http://thinkprogress.org/immigration/2013/05/08/1972011/the-11-most-heartless-republican-amendments-to-the-immigration-bill/
  9. If you have used a real SSN issued to you by the SSA to work, then answer yes.
  10. After you send back the evidence, you should have a response within 60 days.
  11. Wait for the letter to arrive in the mail. It will say what evidence they want you to send in.
  12. Ead Card, No Place Of Birth

I've seen this before, but I don't know if it's a big issue or not. It don't think it is, so If I were you, I would go apply for my SSN then get my ID/DL, then after you have everything, contact USCIS to see if they can fix the mistake.
  13. Advanced Parole

I don't know, since those details are still unknown. I wouldn't think it would affect you since you would have permission from DHS to be out of the country.
  14. Advanced Parole

As of right now, the AP rules haven't changed. The instructions still state that you can be denied entry because of Unlawful Presence. USCIS is trying to make a revision to the rules to implement the ruling by the BIA on the Matter of Arabally and Yerabelly so that those with Unlawful Presence don't trigger the 3/10 year ban upon their departure from the United States, if Unlawful Presence is their only inadmissibility. I would wait until that revision is made before traveling using AP, but there have been a few people who claim to have traveled using AP already.
  15. Just respond "No" to all of their answers, I doubt the questions affect you in any way. If you've never used a real SSN to work, I would answer No.
  16. That's how long the permit it valid for.
  17. Approved, Now What?

Not really sure what you mean by having to verify your approval. Never heard of that before.
  18. Finally A Service Request

She's wrong. The 90 day processing time is for the I-765 after your I-821D has been approved. This has been proven many times in the early days when everyone thought the 90 day processing time was for DACA. A lot of people called in to to Service Requests after 90 days and the the Service Representatives allowed them, now they have stopped, but you got one who must not have gotten the memo. What she most likely did was make a Service Request for your I-765 application, which the Service Center's response to that will be that your I-821D is still under processing, and the I-765 processing time doesn't begin until you have been approved for DACA. You can see what I mean here, https://egov.uscis.g...TDLqmF17-agI-5t read what is written in red. Here's one example of the response to the Service Request for an I-765. http://adreamact.com/topic/1731-recivi-la-carta-del-service-request-hoy-marzo-18/
  19. Transferred Noticed

Being transferred doesn't mean your case will be approved shortly. All Service Centers are busy, it's just that Vermont is the most busy of them all, so they transfer their cases to a less busier center.
  20. If everything goes right, you should have your SSN within a week. Two weeks at the most.
  21. Ssa In California

Yeah, your SSN might be available tomorrow.
  22. Ssa In California

You need to take your EAD and your Passport or Birth Certificate to apply for an SSN. Some SSAs don't have applications. They just take your information from your documents. You wont be able to get a printout the same day. They will give you a receipt saying that you applied for an SSN. If the receipt says that will receive your SSN within 2 weeks, then that means your information was verified with DHS and you will be able to get a printout in 24 hours since that is generally how long it takes for the SSA to generate your SSN. If the receipt says to wait up to 4 weeks, then that means your information wasn't able to be verified and they will have to manually verify your documents with DHS, so you will have to wait longer.
