There's never a guarantee that you will be paroled into the U.S. because there are many factors that could make you inadmissible, but Unlawful Presence for us DACA approved will not be one of them anymore. One reason for inadmissibility upon return might be if you left the U.S. without Advance Parole after being Unlawfully Present in the U.S. for more than 180 days, but if you have not left since you first arrived to the U.S., there should be no issues.

From what I read, this takes away the danger of being barred 3 or 10 years from re-entry if you have been Unlawfully Present. About the part where DHS can revoke your Advance Parole, I find it interesting that it says this,
-
Where did you come across it?
-
There have been a few instances where people receive two RFEs, if they fail to provide enough evidence on the first one.
-
Your status should say to expect a response within 60 days after they received the RFE, so no, the time doesn't start over.

Nc License With A Social Security Print Out ..
JoseG replied to esteband's topic in Life After Deferred Action
I checked on the NCDOT website and it states that you can take a printout. You can see so for yourself here, http://www.ncdot.gov...ense/#documents Click on where it says Acceptable Documents, under Proof of Social Security. You will see it says,"Social Security Document reflecting the Social Security Number" If you apply tomorrow, you may be able to get a printout on Friday. -
6 months is a pretty big gap to have unaccounted for. Try to find some evidence to cover it, if you can't, get some affidavits at least.
-
Congrats! Your EAD should arrive within a week.
-
Okay, well if you were innocent and weren't sentenced and you have the papers that the USCIS adjudicator is requesting to prove it, then I think you'll be fine.
-
What offenses did you commit if you don't mind me asking.

Welcome to the forum.

Sure, there have been people who were approved without sending something every single month. I can't recall right now but I believe I had more than a month's gap, but the best case scenario is to send something every month if possible, it's not a requirement, but there's no way they will RFE you for a few weeks gap. The DACA FAQs state to send at least one document per year, I can assure you if you do that, you will receive an RFE.

You need to go to the SSA and update your information. You will keep the same number, but they will mail you a new card with the wording "Valid for employment only with DHS authorization"

So Where Can I Get The Tracking Number For My Work Permit?
JoseG replied to esteband's topic in Life After Deferred Action
Once your card has been produced, you will get two different updates. One will say, "We have mailed your card" then there will be another update after that one. It will say, "USPS has picked up your card" The second update is the one that has the tracking number. -
Good luck.

Gezinha is right. Most likely your application is just sitting there waiting to be reviewed, along with many others.

Yes, the I-821D instruction page. http://www.uscis.gov...i-821dinstr.pdf Try to send in one document per month if possible. Send anything with your name, address and date on it, or just name and date if you have any.

Well, it says, "has acquired a degree from an institution of higher education" and in the definition of "higher education" they say "The term ‘institution of higher education’ has the meaning given such term in section 102 of the Higher Education Act of 1965 (20 U.S.C. 1002)" which lists vocational schools as an institution of higher education.

I think the college requirement to be able to become a Permanent Resident might be for everyone, whether DACA approved or not. There's a section that says DACA approved may receive streamlined procedures to Permanent Resident status, but I don't think that means DACA approved will be exempt from those requirements, just that the application process will be faster.
-
Some people aren't able to view their application status online until there is an update to their case. About the e-mail and text form. That form was just to be notified when the lockbox received your application. You won't get further notifications after that. To get further notifications, you have to make an account online and add your case to your portfolio. There also isn't a notification when your biometrics letter is mailed out.

All dreamers, whether approved for DACA or not, will be eligible for RPI. The college degree requirement is for when you want to apply for Permanent Resident, after the 5 years of RPI are up.
-
If the bill passes, everyone who qualifies will be given RPI status, which will be a legal status, so all states will be forced to give DL and IDs. With DACA we didn't have a legal status, just legal presence, so some states refused to issue IDs and DLs because of that.
-
It looks like it will be a requirement in order to pass on to Permanent Resident status after your 5 years of RPI are up.

Good luck!
