  1. After Receiving The Notice

Eh, what do you mean you're guessing it's the Employment Authorization Document? Do you have the actual card with your picture on it? If so, here's what you need to know in order to apply for a SSN http://adreamact.com...-daca-approval/ Here is what you need to know in order to apply for a License or ID in Illinois. http://www.cyberdriv...ns/dsd_x173.pdf Thread moved to Life After Deferred Action.
  2. Well, it's basically the same thing, but you get to talk to a person on the INFOPASS so you might be able to get more information from it. When you make a Service Request and you don't get a response, you can then e-mail the Service Center directly. I just checked the website and they just recently changed the response time from 15 days to 30 days. So maybe you will give the Service Request response within this week.
  3. They didn't respond to the Service Request? If they didn't, your lawyer should have e-mailed the Service Center directly. Calling in if both of your applications are still pending won't really do much, but in this case, your I-821D was approved and USCIS clearly states that they should give you a response within 90 days on your I-765.
  4. Since you were issued an RFE, I would call after 60 days to do a Service Request so that they can look into what's going on.
  5. 6 Months + 15 Days

Yes, several people have called in to do Service Requests after waiting for 6+ months and they have just been told that their cases are still under review and that they're working as fast as they can to process the applications.
  6. It means that you were approved. Congratulations.
  7. Your case status will stay on Initial Review from the moment USCIS receives your application until the date you're approved. People have already tried calling and putting in Service Requests after reaching 6 months of waiting and they were pretty much told to just wait.
  8. New Questions Guys,

  9. My Name Is Christian

Good luck! Don't hit the curb.
  10. Upstate New York Anyone ?

Could be that your application is simply just sitting there in line waiting to be reviewed, or your background check is taking longer than usual.
  11. So I Think I'm Approved !

Lol. This is like the third thread today. Congrats! So many approvals today!
  12. Yes, Congrats! The I-765 usually updates first. Your I-821D should be approved within a few hours, if not, by tomorrow. It usually takes about 4-7 days to receive the EAD.
  13. Checking Case Status Online

That's true, a few people aren't able to see their status online until there's an update to their case.
  14. Basically, they have limited resources and when they get to your case, they will work on it as fast as they can.
  15. You did the Service Request for the I-765 application. Basically what they're saying is, the I-765 is for the EAD, you don't qualify for it until you are approved for the I-821D(DACA), so doing a Service Request for the I-765 while your I-821D is still pending won't really do anything. 16. Yes, you were approved. USCIS ordered the production of your EAD card. Congrats! Thread moved to Dream Act Questions & Answers

  18. Anyone Applied In Late 2012? Or 2013?

There's no set time for when you will receive a response after Biometrics. Some people have been approved within a couple of weeks after Biometrics, while others have been waiting since doing their Biometrics in September.
  19. Checking Case Status Online

There used to be a message on the USCIS website that said it can take up to 30 days from when you apply for your status to show up online, but that message is no longer there. Maybe that still applies and they just took off the message because it was causing confusion for some people. Thread moved to Dream Act Questions and Answers
  20. Again?

Only USCIS would know the reason for why they're doing that.
  21. I'm not sure about that. Perhaps someone else can point you in the right direction.
  22. No, that won't work. That would be less evidence than an affidavit, and USCIS doesn't accept affidavits to prove you were here before 16 years old. With the DUI and this issue, you shouldn't apply on your own. My advice would be to seek help from an immigration attorney.
  23. I'm not familiar with the system, but he would have to go to court first, then if he is found guilty, then he will be charged with DUI and according to USCIS, that's a Significant Misdemeanor. Although I'm not sure about this first part where it says that a maximum of one year in prison or less, but greater than five days. If he doesn't go to jail for more than five days he can qualify? That's the part that I'm unsure about. You would have to speak to an immigration attorney.
  24. According to USCIS, Q&A You're going to have to talk to an immigration attorney before you submit the application now that he got the DUI, because according to this, he doesn't qualify anymore.
