No, you didn't receive those if the only thing you have received to date is the Biometrics appointment.
  2. Hopefully it passes. The pink stripe and NO LAWFUL STATUS was really unnecessary.
  3. License & IDs by State.

Yeah, it's quite easy to apply for an ID and DL here in CA, you only need to show the SSN card if you're applying for a Commercial Driver's License.
  4. License & IDs by State.

That's correct. Just your EAD and SSN. They don't even ask to see the actual SSN card, you just need to write down the number on the application.
  5. Yeah that's another possibility. The first RFE could have been a false update.
  6. Hi, Welcome to the forum. Perhaps the first RFE that was mailed out on the 8th wasn't delivered to the right address. Do you live in an apartment building?
  7. License & IDs by State.

You don't need proof of residency. You need to prove your birth date and legal presence, the EAD will cover both. Then, you'll just need your SSN number.
  8. That's correct, you must be under 31 years old. Thread moved to Dream Act Questions & Answers

The case status doesn't change after you do your Biometrics. The status will stay on Initial Review until you are approved/denied/RFE/transferred/name change/NTA.

None. If it doesn't give you the option for exceeded processing time, then that means you can't do a Service Request, or at least not an e-Service Request. You can call USCIS and have one of the customer service employees place a Service Request for you, but the response will most likely just come back as the generic "Your case is still under review" or "This case is under background review"

Try doing an e-Service Request for exceeded processing time using your I-821D Receipt Number and see what it tells you. https://egov.uscis.g...request/Case.do Thread moved to Dream Lounge
  12. Thanks. Been wanting to make this guide for a while now but I never got around to doing it, until now.
  13. The G-1145 form was just to receive the first two acceptance notifications when the lockbox receives your application. After that, you won't get any further updates unless you sign up online. Create your account, then add your receipt numbers to your portfolio, then click on the check boxes and click "Mobile alerts and E-mail alerts"
  14. Did you sign up for case status updates? https://egov.uscis.g...tercustomer.jsp
  15. Sister's EAD just arrived. It has category C33 on it, so the only thing that was wrong was the approval letter :)

if that's the case that you do have to mail it bak, i would make a copy of it first, just in case anything happens

  16. You should hear a response within 60 days according the case status when someone sends back their RFE response.
  17. Biometrics?

Like Rawf said, you can give it a try, some places will let you walk-in before your appointment, some won't. If you get them done earlier, USCIS will get back the results from the FBI earlier. Then, USCIS can begin doing their background check earlier as well.
  18. USICS never did release an official processing time for the I-821D application. I forgot how the 4-6 month timeframe came to be. I think USCIS did mention it, but it certainly isn't an official processing time.
  19. Hi! I'm New Here!

    Hi, Welcome to the forum.
  20. So my sister got her approval letters today in the mail and of course, there is an error on the I-821D approval letter. It says that she has been granted TPS instead of DACA. I already put in an e-Service Request so that they can mail us the correct approval letter for DACA.

i wonder if the EAD will reflect a different category because of that??

@pswa83 I hope not. I searched this problem on the other forum and found another person who had this issue with the approval letter, but his EAD still showed C33.

  21. Need Your Help!

Enter your Receipt Number or your boyfriends Receipt Number here and you can check the status of your case. https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard/CaseStatus.do
  22. Check your Receipt letters and Biometrics letters, perhaps one of them doesn't have your FULL legal name as it's shown on your birth certificate. Or maybe your application didn't have your full name.
