Did you create an account online? Or did you just send our form G-1145? G-1145 was only to receive the two initial acceptance notifications. You won't get any updates after that if you don't create an account online. https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/registercustomer.jsp Sign up, add your receipt numbers to your portfolio, select the receipt numbers, then turn on Mobile or E-mail alerts.

How to obtain a Social Security Number after DACA Approval
JoseG replied to JoseG's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
First, tell them that you want to know whether you've been issued an SSN. They will check, and if they say yes, ask them for a printout. They'll have no choice but to give you one. If they get rowdy with you, tell them that SSA guidelines state that an individual has a right to obtain an SSN printout upon request in compliance with the Privacy Act. Don't forget to take your EAD. Keep in mind that maybe tomorrow might be too early to go, maybe you won't be issued an SSN yet, but let us know how it goes. -
Biometrics Appointment Step by Step and what to Expect !
JoseG replied to Luna's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
You can give it a shot, but there's no guarantee that they'll let you in even if it's one week before. It will depend on the ASC that you go to. Some will let you do your Biometrics before your appointment, others wont. -

Is Being Enrolled In College A Requirement?
JoseG replied to Axxis's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
Are currently in school, have graduated or obtained a certificate of completion from high school, have obtained a general education development (GED) certificate, or are an honorably discharged veteran of the Coast Guard or Armed Forces of the United States http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.eb1d4c2a3e5b9ac89243c6a7543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=f2ef2f19470f7310VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD&vgnextchannel=f2ef2f19470f7310VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD No, you don't have to be in college to apply. -
You should be perfectly fine. Driving without a license tickets are considered minor traffic offenses by USCIS.
-
You can not appeal the decision or ask USCIS to review it, but you can still re-apply. Say for example you were denied because of an error on the application or you didn't have enough evidence the first time but you do now. Reckless driving is not eve remotely the same as driving without a license. Reckless driving is considered a misdemeanor in most states, and can be punishable with jail time. If you are reckless driving, then you are putting other people in danger and could be considered a threat.

They're both the same thing. Except one is done over the computer, while the other one is done over the phone.
-
They were denied 2 days ago, so they probably don't have the letters yet.

I Got My I-821 Approval Letter And Ead Card But No I-765 Approval Letter
JoseG replied to Cristiano7's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
Everyone is supposed to get both approval letters. You should call in and tell them that you didn't receive the I-765 approval letter. It's important to have that for your records. -

Take all of your photo IDs and your Birth Certificate. That should be good enough. -

Check the status of your I-821D online. -
They must have gotten bombarded with Service Requests after all the 6 month people called in. Then again, the only thing they will tell you from the Service Request is to wait longer, it won't speed up your case, so I can see why they wouldn't want to do Service Requests anymore.

Sister's case was just approved
-
Then they added your middle name and second last name to your applications. I don't know when USCIS does this step, if it's before they start doing the background checks, or after your background check clears. There have been several people who were approved within a week after they got this update, so maybe USCIS does this update before the background checks, and if your background checks clear up fast, you will be approved soon.

Best Credit Cards To Apply For After Daca

Hmmm.. should I apply? If I were to be approved, I don't think I would use it for a while. They don't charge anything until you use it right? -
Best Credit Cards To Apply For After Daca
JoseG replied to dreamerinnc's topic in Life After Deferred Action
I did, and I asked Customer Service about it and they said this card is specially for those who are new to the U.S and that anyone can apply even if they have no prior credit. He even did a little questionnaire and said that I was good to apply. He didn't say if I would be approved though lol. -
Best Credit Cards To Apply For After Daca
JoseG replied to dreamerinnc's topic in Life After Deferred Action
Average or Limited Credit. Basically Limited Credit means those who have had credit for less than 3 years, or no credit at all. I chatted with a Customer Service Representative and she told me that you can apply even if you don't have any credit at all. -

If Im Waiting On The Service Request Letter ....
JoseG replied to latinagirl's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
Yeah, through e-mail. First I had done a Service Request because her RFE was never delivered. 15 days passed by and we didn't get a response to the Service Request, so I sent them an e-mail. About 2 days later after I had sent the e-mail, the RFE response came in the mail. They had mailed it out on the 15th day. Then I got the response from the e-mail saying that we should expect to hear a response within 30 days from when we send back the RFE response. 30 days have passed so I replied through the e-mail again to see if they can look into it since they said 30 days, now I'm just waiting to see if they reply or not. If they don't, I'll just have to wait until April 1st, that's when 60 days pass by so that I can do a Service Request if she doesn't get approved by then.
