They're supposed to respond to the RFE within 60 days. I would call USCIS and tell them that it has been more than 60 days since you sent back your RFE response and your case is still pending. It's been like 119 days? That's ridiculous.

This is the user's reyd timeline. As you can see, his status says his I-765 was approved yesterday, 14 days after Bios. Not sure whether his I-821D was approved or not though.

There are several questions that aren't in that app. I downloaded it while I was at the DMV lol and I got them all right, but when I took the test some questions were different. The app is called DMV NOW

You need your EAD and SSN to apply for a Driver's License or ID in California. The only way you would be able to get a Driver's License with just your I-821D, is if your I-765 gets denied. Then you would have to go to the Social Security Office and tell them that your I-765 application was denied and that you wan't a letter from them saying that you aren't eligible for an SSN because you don't have an EAD. Then you take that letter, your I-821D approval letter and I-765 denial letter to the DMV and you can apply for an ID and DL.

He said that because your case is still within the expected processing time of 6 months. Your 6 months will be over in about 24 days, but as you may or may not know, some people have been waiting for longer than 6 months, so there is really no guarantee that everyone will hear a response within that time frame.
