  1. After reading this, I think you are good to apply. Thr program go2ed.com is offered through Community Colleges, so it meets the requirements. Basically what the last paragraph says is that you need to provide evidence that the program is effective in assisting students obtain their GED. Get all of the information you can about the program including documents with your name on them. For example, you can go here http://www.ed2go.com...ingSchools.aspx and enter your zip code, then print out the page showing all of the community colleges that use that program. 2. Hello Everyone!

Welcome to the forum. Now we have another Jose G
  3. Yeah, that's what I thought as well. I see you took my name though. lol jk.
  4. While both applications are usually approved together, being approved for DACA doesn't guarantee your I-765 will also be approved. USCIS has a 90 day processing time for the I-765 after your I-821D application has been approved. No, you can not apply for an SSN without the EAD in your hand.
  5. Help!! Daca Update

That's weird. So I'm guessing the letters didn't arrive either? It took 5 days for mine to arrive, if you didn't get them today, maybe tomorrow.
  6. Rfe

You enter your I-821D receipt number on the USCIS website to look up the status of your application. https://egov.uscis.g...d/CaseStatus.do or you can Sign-up for Case Updates and you will be notified by text or e-mail whenever there is an update to your case.
  7. Well, when people were calling in to do Service Requests at 3 months for the I-765, USCIS was going off of the Received Date. The member named Luna was also told to call back next Thursday, which would be 6 months after her Received Date. I would try doing a Service Request 6 months after the Received Date, just to see what the Service Center says.
  8. Rfe

    The first time? 4 months.
  9. Then they should work. Anything that has your name on it can be useful
  10. Rfe

No. Her case updated again a couple of weeks later with another RFE. That one was real and it arrived about 3 days later.
  11. Rfe

My sister's case updated in January with an RFE. 16 days passed by and the RFE never arrived, so I called USCIS and put in a Service Request. 15 days later, we got a letter in the mail saying that the RFE was an error and that an RFE was never issued to her application.
  12. Oh. On the I-765 application? It says Social Security Numbers (include all numbers you have ever used) I didn't know that included ITIN numbers.

  14. I've seen a few case status of denied applications, but I haven't seen anyone say they have been denied.
  15. The application doesn't ask for your ITIN Number does it? o.O Where did you put it?
  16. Still Can't Check Online For Status

I think Santi was also experiencing this. There are some people who weren't able to see their status online until the day they were approved. Thread moved to Dream Lounge
  17. Rfe How Long To Receive

It should be within 15 days. If you don't get it by the 16th day, the 1st of March, call USCIS and put in a Service Request. The letter may have been mailed to the wrong address, or the RFE may be a mistake.
  18. Please Help

I found this, http://forums.office...p/t-158952.html I don't think it will affect you since the fingerprint on the ticket won't be entered into a database where it will show up if the FBI were to run a background check, and you didn't give your real name. The thumb print is put on the ticket in case someone comes in to complain that a ticket showed up under their name. Then, they will match the fingerprints, and if it doesn't match, the ticket will be dismissed from that person's record. "Specific to Florida: If you do not have your license on your person, you are required to provide your thumbprint for identification : Under state statute 322.15(2) " Upon the failure of any person to display a driver's license as required, the law enforcement officer or representative shall require the person to imprint his or her fingerprints upon any citation issued." Refusal to comply shall constitute resisting arrest, punishable under fss 843.02. To the original poster, it is not under a case law, it IS a state law and required. The fingerprint is not kept in any database, it is just used for identification purposes at court. I would think it's the same thing in California.
  19. Please Help

I'm not sure what would happen in this case, but if you gave a different name, it might not show up.
  20. Rfe From Laguna Niguel

My sister got an RFE from the California Service Center USCIS received her response on the 29th of January, we're still waiting. I was in contact with an agent through e-mail and I was told that we should hear a response within 30 days, so I'm going to e-mail them back the 2nd of March if she still isn't approved, to see what they tell me. It was a basic RFE, so I'm wondering why it's taking so long for a response.
  21. Ouch, there goes 3 months. Anyways, nice to hear you finally got a response.
