If you sent documents with two different last names, they're going to have to verify that both of the names are used by you, so yeah, you should have sent the marriage license.

It's not new, it has happened since the beginning. -
Has Anyone Gotten This While Checking Online About Their Case?

Yes, it has happened to others before. Here's another one. http://adreamact.com/topic/1510-we-transferred-your-i821d-consideration-of-deferred-action-for-childhood-arrivals-to-your-local-uscis-office-for-further-processing/ -
Whenever you call USCIS for a Service Request, they go off of your Received Date. That's the date they received your application at the lockbox, it's on your Receipt letters.

I don't think so. There are people still waiting who applied with a lawyer, just like there are people who were approved within a month after Biometrics without a lawyer. You sister in law still qualifies for DACA since she is currently in school. Maybe the difference is if she filled out her form differently because she had a lawyer's help, or here evidence is more clear, or her background check came back faster, but USCIS won't automatically move along a case faster solely on the fact that someone applied through a lawyer.
-
You just have to wait. What comes next are the Approval letters or RFE, then your EAD. It won't be two to three weeks that's for sure.
-
Weren't you the one who was waiting for his Biometrics letter? You got it right? It can be another 2-3 months before you're approved, or maybe even less, each case is different.
-
Playstation Network. It's not absolutely necessary to send something each month, it might just depend on how strong the evidence you sent in was. If it's not very good evidence, they will request more.
-
Maybe you heard wrong. The only 3 month waiting time there is, is when your I-821D application is approved and your I-765 is not. USCIS gives a 3 month waiting time for a response to your I-765 application from the date your I-821D is approved.
-
What people are saying this? Some people have exceeded the 6 month waiting period.

Daca Aprroved Versus Letter Of Approval
JoseG replied to Jonathan's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
You sent two applications, the I-821D and the I-765, once you are approved for the I-821D and the I-765 , USCIS will send you two letters called Approval Notice, one for each application. After you are approved for the I-765, USCIS will order the production of your EAD card. After the card has been produced, it will be mailed to you and that's the end of it. -
Your case status online updates telling you that you have been issued a Request for evidence.

1-800-375-5283 Follow the instructions and dial the numbers that say information about RFE. You will be able to speak to a Representative eventually.

8 year wait for Permanent Residence? Seems a bit long.
-
You'll just have to wait until you get the response from the Service Request. Maybe they'll expedite your case if it's just sitting there. Or they'll start telling people that they need to wait longer than the expected processing date.

Hmmm... If your last name is different now than your birth name, that could be a possibility. Did you send evidence with a different last name?

We Transferred Your I821D, Consideration Of Deferred Action For Childhood Arrivals, To Your Local Uscis Office For Further Processing
JoseG replied to phoenixbird's topic in General Discussions
I wouldn't worry, it's not the first time it's happened. They're most likely just spreading out the workload to the local offices. -
No it doesn't affect it because like pswa said, you can't do anything if your case is still within the 6 months processing time. You can call all you want but your case won't move along any faster.
-
Yes, that's an RFE. There are many people who have gotten them and who were also approved. Sometimes they ask for something simple in the RFE, you just gotta wait for the letter and see what they want.

Question About "current Immigration Status" And "manner Of Entry"
JoseG replied to Lebam's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
If he overstayed, he can simply put Visa Overstay. I came on a B2 Visa and overstayed, I put B2 Visa Overstay. -
Nope.

I don't think anyone's Receipt Date is actually August 15 unless they sent their application the same day the form came out and it was delivered and processed the same day. But if it has been 6 months and 1 day, give them a call to put in a Service Request.
