  1. It will show up on your background check and USCIS will request to see the paperwork if you didn't send it in with your application. It shouldn't affect your approval though.
  2. Could We Lose

    Most likely not.
  3. I don't believe there is one. The only way you would be able to get an ID or DL in Arizona is by using your EAD and on your EAD it was the Category 'C33' which is obviously not allowed to apply for an ID or DL.
  4. Help I Have Two Questions! Very Important

My sister's and my birth certificate were translated at a public notary. You should call notaries around your area, or search on google for document translation and you should find some places that can do it. Another option would be to do it yourself or have a friend or family member do it. You just need to add this to the bottom of the page. Certification by Translator I [typed name], certify that I am fluent (conversant) in the English and ________ languages, and that the above/attached document is an accurate translation of the document attached entitled ______________________________. Signature_________________________________ Date _________________ Typed Name________________ Address___________________

  6. You can't submit affidavits to prove that you were here on June 15, 2012, although, perhaps if you can get letters from a church, or a business or some other place besides from a friend of family member, they might work.
  7. Hi Im Erika

Hi, welcome to the forum. Bank statements are good evidence to show continuous residence. Whether they are enough or not will most likely depend on how frequently they show user activity.
  8. 8 Months!!!!

    Congrats!
  9. Does that mean that you didn't send a copy of your expired VISA, nor any other evidence showing that you are currently overstayed?
  10. Not Stateside?

In order to qualify for DACA, you must meet ALL of these 7 requirements. Were under the age of 31 as of June 15, 2012; Came to the United States before reaching your 16th birthday; Have continuously resided in the United States since June 15, 2007, up to the present time; Were physically present in the United States on June 15, 2012, and at the time of making your request for consideration of deferred action with USCIS; Entered without inspection before June 15, 2012, or your lawful immigration status expired as of June 15, 2012; Are currently in school, have graduated or obtained a certificate of completion from high school, have obtained a general education development (GED) certificate, or are an honorably discharged veteran of the Coast Guard or Armed Forces of the United States; and Have not been convicted of a felony, significant misdemeanor, three or more other misdemeanors, and do not otherwise pose a threat to national security or public safety. Unfortunately, it seems like you don't meet the three highlighted in red.
  11. Wow, that's unfortunate. It seems like an error to me. If they sent you the RFE asking for proof of continuous residence, how in the heck can they deny you for something else..... What minorflaw said is true. "You have not established that you were in an unlawful immigration status in the United States on June 15, 2012" means that you didn't sent them evidence showing that you were undocumented as of June 15, 2012. Did you send evidence to show that your VISA expired in 2002, like for example, a copy of the VISA or I-94? If so, I would definitely call USCIS and ask to speak to an immigration officer and explain to him/her that you were issued an RFE for one thing and that you sent in those requested items, but you were denied for something else, which was not listed in the RFE.
  12. Hi, welcome to the forums and good luck with your applications.
  13. Gov. Shut Down And Daca

Yes, USCIS will slow down. As a fee-based agency, USCIS will continue to accept and process applications and petitions. However, we expect there to be delays in processing, as some support staff may be furloughed and USCIS depends on non-essential agencies for services.
  14. Help

It's impossible to know when you'll have a decision on your applications. There are some 2012 August applicants still waiting for a decision. It will depend on how fast your background checks get cleared.
  15. I Have A Question Regarding Rfe.

That will depend on the shipping method. Should probably be there within a week.
  16. I Have A Question Regarding Rfe.

Um..That will depend on the method that you used to ship the letter.
  17. What This Mean?

RFE = Request for Evidence. Yes, it means that they have received your response to the RFE.
  18. What This Mean?

    It's pretty self explanatory.
  19. Walk-In Biometrics?

That will depend on the location that he has to go to get his Biometrics taken. Some places will let people walk-in without asking anything, other places you need to give them a reason, and some will tell you to come back on your appointment date.
  20. I read a post by a user who had gone to the same ASC as I was scheduled to go to get my Biometrics taken, and he said that he did a walk-in, so I decided to try it out myself. I didn't call, one reason being that I could not find a phone number for that place and if I had called them, they would have most likely told me that they don't accept walk-ins.
  21. I used to live in 95122 on Simon Ave, right next to Fischer Middle School, that's where I went for 7th and half of 8th grade before I moved down here to Southern Cali.
  22. Do you have proof that you were in the U.S. before reaching 16 years old? You were sent back to Mexico 5 times at the age of 15?! Did you finally make it across a month before you're 16th birthday?
  23. Daca Permit Lost

EAD and SSN in wallet = worst idea ever, they should be kept somewhere safe in your house at all times unless you're going to go to a job interview or somewhere you're going to need them that day. The fee for a replacement is going to be $465, even though the I-765 information says $380, you have to pay the Biometrics fee again.
