What do you mean? Just write down your yearly income. If you're working, write it down.
  2. I used my Birth Certificate and my Social Security card came 7 days after applying, although, the guy who helped me out was Latino, so maybe it depends on whether the person helping you out is bilingual or not.
  3. You're going to have to wait until the 20th, if you don't get the letter by then, call USCIS and tell them that you want to put in a Service Request because you never received the RFE letter.
  4. They're usually done whenever there's an issue with your case and you want the Service Center to look into it. Like in January, my sister was issued an RFE but it never arrived. I called USCIS and they told me to wait 15 days and if it didn't arrive by then, to give them a call back. After the 15 days I called them back and they put in the Service Request. After the Service Center got the Service Request, they sent my sister a letter saying that an RFE was never issued to her and that her case was still under normal review. So there needs to be an issue with your case in order for the USCIS Customer Service Rep to put in a Service Request.
  5. I already responded to this. Read the previous page.
  6. Apart from them saying not to use staples? Sure they probably won't return your application because of it, but they advise you not to do it. All of this is just advice, do whatever the........ - Hodgetwins lol.
  7. There's nothing we can help you with as your case is still under normal processing. You don't get any other letters after the Biometrics appointment letter, until your case is approved.
  8. "If passengers are willing to provide additional information, we have other means of substantiating someone's identity, like using publicly available databases." http://www.tsa.gov/t.../acceptable-ids "Explain the situation to the first security guard. He'll call in a supervisor who will ask you to fill out a TSL 44 form—essentially a release that states your name, the last four of your SSN digits, and your home address (you must have lived there for at least a year). This grants the TSA permission to check your social security records. Once the form is signed, the supervisor asks a series of identity-verifying questions. He relays the questions asked by a remote officer who does the actual record checks. Where were you born? What state was your SSN issued in? What are its last four digits? Mother's maiden name? Father's name and place of birth? These questions vary, but they should generally be available on your birth certificate (assuming you're a natural-born citizen). Be ready with these sorts of facts prior to arriving at security." http://gizmodo.com/5...a-business-card It's probably not a good idea to try it.
  9. That's because the people on the phone at the USCIS Service Center can't see any of your information besides what we can see on the website when you check your case status, unless you are transferred to an Immigration Officer. Just wait for the response, they will tell you what happened and they will resend a new letter.

No, the Passport isn't necessary. Don't get a new one. Your Birth Certificate with your EAD is fine, no translation needed, but you can take it also, just in case. The only reason I mentioned the Passport was because some people claim to have been asked for it, but the SSA guidelines clearly state that you can use either a Passport or Birth Certificate, you just have to know that beforehand in case they want to tell you otherwise. https://secure.ssa.gov/apps10/poms.nsf/lnx/0110210020
  11. Okay, so the Service Center that has your case will be able to tell you what happened with your Biometrics letter.
  12. You need to file a separate application with USCIS if you want to travel outside of the United States. It's called Advance Parole. http://www.uscis.gov...00045f3d6a1RCRD There are only 3 reasons for which you may be granted Advance Parole. They are; Educational, Humanitarian, or Employment purposes. Even if you are granted Advance Parole, there are dangers in using it. If you have accrued Unlawful Presence (like the majority of Dreamers), Border Patrol can deny you entry back into the U.S. The only people who would be able to travel without problems would be minors under the age of 18, since you don't start to accrue Unlawful Presence until after your 18th Birthday.
  13. Okay, so you did a Service Request already right? Did they give you a Request number?
  14. Call and see if they can give you an answer. If they don't, put in a service request. You should have received your Biometrics letter late November or early December at the latest.
  15. This Is Too Long :\

There are people who applied in August who are about to hit 6 months still waiting, that should put things into perspective.

I took my EAD and Birth Certificate. If you have a passport, take that as well. I've heard some people get asked for their passport instead of their Birth Certificate although you can use either one.
  17. Yes, she did receive the RFE, it was mailed out on Jan. 23 and it arrived on the 25th.
  18. Social Security Administration

By myself. Not sure if minors have to take their parents.
  19. 70 Working Days & Counting...

Sister applied on September 7 and she's still not approved and there are many other August applicants still waiting for a decision too. Sucks to wait, but that's all you can do for the time being.
  20. Im New/ Please Help Me ~

It seems to me like that's nothing to worry about, especially since you were a minor. Worst case scenerio is they count it as a misdemeanor, which wouldn't affect you if you only have one. If it were a significant misdemeanor or a felony, you wouldn't have gotten off with community service and an essay.
  21. Introduce Your Desktop!

Thanks. I haven't any problems with Windows 7, so I'm keeping it for now. I don't like the Windows 8 interface.
  22. It's better to just not use stapes. If you have papers that need to go together, then just stack them together or use a paper clip. http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextchannel=fe529c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1RCRD&vgnextoid=ff053d146a7ee010VgnVCM1000000ecd190aRCRD
