Come on guys, it's not that difficult. That message means that there will be a 30-45 day delay from the time the lockbox receives your application to the time you will be able to view your status online. It won't affect knowing whether you're application is approved or not since your status doesn't change during the first 30-45 days when you first file your application. This message is for those who have just recently filed their application and can't see their status online yet.

That sucks :\

Congratulations.

Maybe forgotten, but I doubt they lose them lol.

How Many Of You Guys Pay A Lawyer?
JoseG replied to Mercedez's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
My sister sent her app a day after me and she's still waiting, and she's still in High School. -
https://egov.uscis.g...tercustomer.jsp Register an account, add your Cell phone number, add your Receipt Numbers to your portfolio, then, turn on Mobile Alert and E-mail Alert and you will get a text message and e-mail when your case status updates. That way you don't have to keep checking everyday to see if there's an update.

I know someone who sent their application on August 21 and just got approved yesterday. You're decision will come sooner than later.
-
They probably didn't ask for anything for June 15 because the evidence that you sent for 2012 covered it since you don't have to send something exactly on the June 15th date, it can be something from shortly before or shortly after. You'll have to wait until the letter arrives so that you can see what they're asking for, then we'll be able to give you some ideas on what you can send.

It can still be a couple more months until you're approved. There are many factors that come into play that will decide your waiting time.

Question To Whoever Have Been Approved Already
JoseG replied to 020490's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
Don't staple anything, your documents have to be scanned at the lockbox. I just sent everything held together by two acco binder clips. -
That just means that there will be a 30-45 day delay from the time the lockbox accepts your application to the time you will be able to view your status online. It won't affect knowing whether you're approved or not since your status doesn't change during the first 30-45 days when you file your application. The status stays in initial review until you're application is approved/RFE which we all know is starting to take several months.

I don't understand why people smoke. Yet again, I've never tried it nor do I want to, so I'll probably never know. My cousins smoke and I hate it whenever they pull out a cigarette they ask me if I want one...I don't know how many times I have to tell him no for him to stop asking lol. I dislike the smell of it too.
-
This is his second RFE? What was the first one for? Like Sanchez said, get a letter from the school stating that he's currently in school taking classes to obtain his GED, and if possible an estimated time of when he will be done. Include a copy of his schedule again and any other relevant things.

Yeah, it's normal, it changes a lot. Once when they approve your case and mail out the approval letters, then when they make the card, then when USPS has picked up the card, then when the card has been shipped. It goes back and forth. Moved thread to Dream Act Questions & Answers.

Yes, it's normal. Your status goes to Post Decision when you're approved, then Card Production when they're making the card, then back to post decision.

Considering Advance Parole
JoseG replied to ツ alejandriiukz ㋡'s topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
I agree with MusicalHooigan, arthritis doesn't seem like something you can get Advance Parole for. I see Advance Parole more for people who need to travel because they have an immediate relative in the hospital with a life threatening illness or if someone has passed away and you need to attend the funeral. Although, who knows what USCIS considers Humanitarian reasons. USCIS still hasn't changed it's guidelines. If you were living here Unlawfully, you can still be denied for the 3/10 years, so nobody is safe from traveling. Also, I thought USCIS was working on a new application for AP for us DACA approved. -
Considering Advance Parole

I've only seen one case of supposedly successful travel under AP, but they didn't go into detail of what documents they sent in. -

Us Postal Service Will No Longer Deliver Mail On Saturday
JoseG replied to latinagirl's topic in General Discussions
No surprise considering USPS reported a loss of $15 Billion last year! It is costing the government more money to provide the service than they're getting out of it. -
Damn, I wonder what it could be.

After the DACA applications came out I downloaded them and I was searching on google for more DACA related news and I found the other forum, DAP, but I didn't like it at first, It seemed a bit cluttered. I then found this site and decided to sign up.

Wait for your EAD to arrive in the mail, then go apply for a SSN.
